Miley Cyrus Breaks Down Crying During Post-Split “Wrecking Ball” Performance

Miley Cyrus performed “Wrecking Ball” live on Saturday for the first time at the iHeartRadio Music Festival Village, her first big appearance since splitting from Liam Hemsworth.

The singer appeared to still be reeling from some pretty raw emotions, as she broke down crying during the performance.

And, as the camera zoomed in at the end of the song, tears were still streaming down her face (see right).

As Gossip Cop reported, Cyrus was more upbeat — and less dressed — at her second performance last night.

The 2013 iHeartMusic Festival brought a who’s who of the music industry to Las Vegas on Friday and Saturday.

Britney Spears, Katy Perry, Justin Timberlake, Miley Cyrus, Drake, and Elton John are just a few of the dozens of performers to appear at this year’s event.

And there weren’t only music stars on hand.

The Kardashians, Kate Hudson, Ashley Greene, Ian Somerhalder and countless TV and movie stars took part in the festivities.

The concerts will be broadcast on The CW on September 30 and October 1.

Miley Cyrus Wears Pasties for iHeartRadio Music Festival Performance (VIDEO)

Miley Cyrus performed two separate sets at Saturday’s iHeartRadio Music Festival, but it’s her wardrobe for the second performance that’s causing a stir.

The singer took the stage in Las Vegas last night wearing pasties over her nipples and tiny underwear, along with a fishnet cover-up that, well, didn’t cover much at all.

And for “We Can’t Stop,” Cyrus was joined once again by her diminutive twerking pal.

Cyrus had already performed earlier in the day at the festival’s Village in an outfit that could easily double as lingerie.
