Claire Danes: “I Would Make a Lousy Stay-At-Home Mom” (PHOTOS)

Claire Danes graces the February cover of Elle, in which the actress opens up about taking on her biggest role yet: motherhood!
“I’ve always wanted to have kids, but I’m glad I didn’t until now,” says Danes, who was eight months pregnant with baby boy Cyrus when she posed for the magazine.

The “Homeland” star says that when she was initially thinking about working and being a mom at the same time, “I was really nervous about it,” but reveals she’s since decided not to give up her day job anytime soon.
“I think I would make a lousy stay-at-home mom,” says Danes. ”It just wouldn’t suit me.”
Adds the Emmy winner, ”I feel so fortunate, in that I’ve had this arrow-straight focus… that I wanted to act.”
She’s also fortunate to have husband Hugh Dancy by her side.
Danes tells the magazine, “Hugh was just the right partner for me. I got very, very lucky.”
