Gwyneth Paltrow Plotting To “Ruin” Vanity Fair Oscar Party?

Gwyneth Paltrow is getting “revenge” on Vanity Fair for its upcoming takedown story about the actress, reports Star.

The mag claims Paltrow has “cooked up a spiteful plan” to “ruin the mag’s Oscar party!”

How exactly?

According to a supposed “insider” for the tabloid, “Gwyneth is hoping to host a bigger, better and more star-studded bash than Vanity Fair’s celebrated bash.”

“She’s working around the clock to enlist her friends to attend and boycott the Vanity Fair soiree,” adds the purported “source.”

Really?

Not. At. All.

Gossip Cop checked in with a rep for Paltrow, who tells us the magazine’s story is “completely ridiculous,” noting, “Gwyneth is not organizing any party for the Oscars.”

Gwyneth Paltrow Reveals Kids Moses and Apple’s Christmas Wish List

Gwyneth Paltrow revealed her children’s Christmas wish lists on Thursday’s GOOP holiday gift guide.

So, what are 9-year-old Apple and 7-year-old Moses asking for this year?

Apple says she wants “an iPod 5, a Lifeproof case for my iPod5 so I can take it underwater and a Kipling rolley backpack.”

Meanwhile, Moses is asking for Skylanders Swap Force (a video game), an acoustic guitar and a hamster.

Moses also tells the site that “pretty much everyone wants a rainbow loom,” which is an arts and crafts kit.

Gwyneth Paltrow Asking Celeb Friends To “Boycott” Vanity Fair Oscars Party?

“Gwyneth Paltrow Asking A-List Friends To Boycott ‘Vanity Fair’ Oscars Party,” reads the headline from a RadarOnline report.

According to the webloid, Paltrow is “actively asking her A-list friends to boycott the magazine’s famous Oscars party.”

A so-called “source” tells RadarOnline, “Gwyneth feels her relationship with the magazine has been destroyed and she’s urging pals not just to avoid doing business with the magazine, but to skip the mag’s Oscar party as well.”

“To be frank, she wants to shut their Oscar party down entirely,” adds the alleged insider.

While it’s true, as Gossip Cop has previously reported, that Paltrow has urged her fellow celebrity pals to not work with the 100-year-old magazine because of an unflattering piece the glossy has planned, we’ve learned she has NOT asked other stars to ditch the mag’s big Academy Awards party.

Paltrow’s rep calls the blog’s story “completely false,” noting, “Gwyneth has not asked anyone to not attend the party,”

RadarOnline recently reported wrongly that Paltrow “convinced George Clooney to withdraw from appearing on the magazine’s Hollywood Issue cover.”
