Gucci Mane: I’m Addicted to Drinking “Lean” and “Ashamed” of My Behavior

Gucci Mane took to Twitter on Sunday to apologize for his recent erratic behavior and admit that he’s been addicted to drinking “lean” — the infamous purple ‘sizzurp’ drink — for a decade.

The rapper’s latest arrest came earlier this month, when he allegedly threatened cops while carrying a gun and marijuana.

In a series of dramatic tweets on Sunday, Mane took responsibility for his pattern of bad behavior and explained its origins:

“Woke up the other day out this hospital bed & I’m so embarrassed & ashamed of my behavior that was brought to my attention. I just wanna man up right now & take this time to apologize to my family, friends, the industry & most of all my fans. I’m SORRY!

I’ve been drinking lean for 10plus years & I must admit it has destroyed me. I wanna be the first rapper to admit I’m addicted to lean & that sh*t ain’t no joke. I can barely remember all the things I’ve done & said. However there’s no excuse.

I’m currently incarcerated but I will be going to rehab because I need help. I wanna thank everyone that has stood by me during this difficult time. Please keep me in your prayers. I wanna personally apologize to birdman ross & drake. Dem my n*ggas. I 100% regret my words & actions.”

Gucci Mane Arrested After Threatening Cops While Carrying Gun, Weed

Gucci Mane was arrested after allegedly threatening police in Atlanta while in possession of a gun and marijuana.

The rapper had reportedly been acting erratically when one of his friends signaled cops to help.

According to a police report obtained by TMZ, Mane began “cursing and threatening them.”

Authorities found a small amount of weed and a handgun on him.

Mane was taken into custody shortly after midnight and booked for carrying a concealed weapon, disorderly conduct, and marijuana possession.

He was subsequently taken to a hospital for observation.

Earlier this year, the rapper was jailed on an assault charge in connection with an alleged attack on a soldier in an Atlanta night club.

Gucci Mane Goes on Raunchy Twitter Rant, Nicki Minaj and Tyga Respond

Gucci Mane unleashed a Twitter tirade on Monday, claiming he had sex with Nicki Minaj, Keyshia Cole, Ciara, Kelly Rowland and more singers.

The Spring Breakers actor tweeted, “Me and Waka [Flocka Flame] f**k nicki minaj dats nothing.”

“Tell. Her intervention my d**k in her throat I moved dat b**ch to atl. B**ch u was sleepin n d car. B**ch. I pulled dat b**ch off [Lil Wayne’s] bus,” the rapper ranted.

But Minaj says Mane is just bitter that she and Tyga refused to be on his track.

The “Super Bass” singer tweeted, “May God strike me dead if I ever had sex wit that man. Lmfaoooooooooo. N***a da way ya #ugliness is set up #BubbaGump #crackhead.”

Minaj added, “I’m rlly cracking up. He’s fighting so hard for one more ounce of relevance. Tyga and I turned down his feature request last Thursday.”

Tyga also chimed in after Mane claimed he had sex with Tyga’s baby mama Blac Chyna.

Tyga tweeted, “First off Let’s address the elephant in the room . Every 1 knows Burberry has HIV dats why nobody f**k with him.”

He then shared a text conversation between him and Mane, in which Mane asked him and Minaj to feature on his song (photo below).
