Jennifer Aniston feels everyone can choose whether they want to be happy or not.
In the cover story of the September issue of Glamour, the divorced actress tells her We’re the Millers co-star and the magazine’s guest interviewer Jason Sudeikis, “You can undo a lot of things [when you get older]… If you’re not happy, you can become happy.”
“Happiness is a choice,” says Aniston, adding, “That’s the thing I really feel. Like with friends who refuse to get happy, who refuse to rise above the discomfort of where they’re at.”
Aniston, who’s engaged to Justin Theroux, goes on to tell Sudeikis, himself set to wed Olivia Wilde, “Once you meet yourself, and truly love yourself, then you attract that. And look – I mean, the two of us have found these two, beautiful, loving, open people.”
“We both went through the same thing,” acknowledges the former “SNL” star, noting, “I mean, I would hear you talk about [guys you were dating], and I’d be like, ‘Oh, f–k. I don’t want to be like that to somebody else.’ ”
“Yeah. Yeah,” admits Aniston, who says, “And look how far we’ve come! High five!”
