Katie Holmes Has “Sights Set” On George Clooney, Claims Tab

Katie Holmes has her “sights set” on George Clooney, reports the Daily Mail.

Picking up on a story from Grazia, the tabloid claims the pair had “serious chemistry” when she attended his Gravity premiere in New York on October 1.

The paper alleges that Holmes and Clooney have recently “grown close” and “have enjoyed a number of dinner dates over the last few weeks after getting on like a house on fire at a dinner party.”

“A house on fire”? That sounds serious!

Anyway, the Daily Mail quotes a purported “insider” as saying, “They’re both single and have met up a couple of times since the dinner party. Katie really has her sights set on him. There is a genuine connection.”

The supposed “source” adds, “They are enjoying their new flirtation. He’s a fun guy with buckets of charisma and Katie loves his company.”

You gotta love a guy with buckets of charisma.

Unfortunately for the tabloid, however, this story is 100% made up.

Gossip Cop checked in with a close Holmes pal, who tells us the dating report is complete “b.s.”

George Clooney Photobombs Steven Spielberg and Jerry Seinfeld – SEE PICS!

George Clooney still loves a good prank.

The actor photobombed Steven Spielberg, Jessica and Jerry Seinfeld at the USC Shoah Foundation event in New York this week.

Kidding aside, Clooney received the Ambassador for Humanity Award for his work raising awareness of the genocide in Darfur.

Spielberg presented him with the honor, calling the star a “humble humanitarian.”

Clooney’s Gravity co-star Sandra Bullock was also on hand to sing his praises.

CLAIM: Stacy Keibler Wrestling Again to Make Money After George Clooney Split

“George Clooney’s ex-girlfriend Stacy Keibler is mulling a return to the wrestling ring to grab some cash!” declares the National Enquirer.

A so-called “close pal” tells the tabloid, “Stacy is considering making a one-time appearance on the wrestling circuit. But it’s got to be a cash-heavy offer. She would like the dough.”

The Enquirer explains that Keibler “got used to the high life” while dating Clooney.

“Since they split, Stacy’s had to give up a lot,” says the magazine’s insider. “But she still buys the best of everything and splashes out big bucks every week at the spa. She has two trainers, a health coach and a private chef.”

The Enquirer source continues, “She estimates she needs over $50,000 a month to support her current lifestyle. A million-dollar appearance fee would cover her expenses for a year and leave enough left over for her to make a serious investment in something.”

“Stacy admits a return to wrestling isn’t quite what she had in mind,” adds the tabloid’s tipster. “But the offers are getting too good to refuse.”

Uh-huh.

Here’s a reality check for the Enquirer: Keibler has non-wrestling gigs and offers, and is dating a wealthy tech entrepreneur.

She has money.

She’s not returning to the WWE.

A source close to Keibler tells Gossip Cop the Enquirer story is not true.
