CLAIM: Katie Holmes Wants To “Sex Up Image” With Fifty Shades of Grey Role

“Katie Holmes is sexing up her silver-screen image to put herself back on the movie map,” says the National Enquirer, which goes on to claim, “She’s hoping to land a red-hot role in the film version of Fifty Shades of Grey.”
“Sources” for the supermarket tabloid allege Holmes “plans on going platinum blonde for the role of Elena Lincoln, kinky billionaire and main character Christian Grey’s longtime sex and business partner.”
“She’s looking at this as the role of a lifetime,” a so-called “pal” blabs to the Enquirer. “It will shock a lot of people, but she thinks Hollywood will sit up and take notice.”
The magazine goes on to report that Holmes has been hitting the gym to “tone herself up for the part,” and “is determined to win over the film’s execs.”
And there’s one other reason why Holmes wants the “Mrs. Robinson” part, alleges the Enquirer: “It will also make ex-hubby [Tom] Cruise fume!”
“This new sexy role will undoubtedly hit Tom like a one-two punch,” declares the tab’s “source.”

A rep for Holmes tells us the tabloid’s claim that she’s seeking any role in Fifty Shades of Grey is 100 percent untrue.
