Is Stephen Amell in the running for Fifty Shades of Grey’s male lead?
The “Arrow” star increased speculation on Thursday, when he posted a video to his Facebook account addressing rumors he’ll star in the highly-anticipated book adaptation.
“I get questions about Christian Grey all the time. That project is a long way off. I know this, because I had a meeting about it,” said Amell. “Long way off.”

The actor then added, “I mean, not that long… but not close. I wouldn’t call it long… but I wouldn’t call it close.”
How… vague.
Still, it’s highly unlikely any cast decisions will be made until a director boards the project, but some stars have thrown their hat into the ring already, while others have made it clear they’re not considering the movie whatsoever.
