Chrissy Teigen probably won’t be first in line when Fifty Shades of Grey opens in theaters.
On Thursday, the model attempted to read the erotic novel for the first time and was less than impressed.
“entire 1st page dedicated to hair brushing. ‘Must not brush it wet’ ‘time for a ponytail’ wow compelling stuff here,’” tweeted Teigen.
She went on to quip, “I feel like this started as a mad libs,” mocking the E L James tomé for not just its plot but also its writing.
“She calls her VW ‘Wanda’ and her Mercedes ‘Merc’. ‘The Merc is a fun drive as I hit the pedal to the metal’. No irony,’ wrote Teigen.
“I have an extremely high pain tolerance. But I honestly don’t think I can do this,” she continued. “This book is f*cking horrendous.”
The star got so frustrated she announced she was “throwing this in the ocean,” but simply settled for burying it in the sand instead.
“I tried,” she captioned the pic (see above and below).
