Eva Longoria is back on the market.

The actress and “Ready For Love” star Ernesto Arguello have reportedly split after just four months of dating.

TMZ cites distance — Longoria lives in Los Angeles while Arguello is based in Miami — as the main reason for the breakup.

Longoria, who produced the now-canceled dating show on which Arguello appeared, confirmed the pair’s romance just last month.

In July, the star said she “couldn’t be happier” in her new relationship, and Arguello tweeted about “thanking God for finding each other.”

Gossip Cop has reached out to a rep for Longoria to confirm the split.

“Eva Longoria is putting her man to work,” begins a piece in Star, which goes on to claim the actress has “cast her boyfriend, Ernesto Arguello, on her new Lifetime series, Devious Maids, so he can start contributing financially” to their relationship.

According to a so-called “source” for the tabloid, Longoria “doesn’t want to be his sugar mama… So she’s having the writers create a character specifically for him.”

Really?

NO.

A rep for Longoria tells Gossip Cop exclusively, “This is absolutely NOT the case. Ernesto is a businessman, not an actor.”

Of course, this isn’t the first time Star has been wrong about Longoria.

Perhaps the magazine is still using its same “source,” who previously linked the actress to Wilmer Valderrama, as well as said she was dating former L.A. Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, and even once claimed she was pregnant with Mark Sanchez’s baby.

Eva Longoria and Ernesto Arguello appear to be very serious about their new relationship.

The couple, who met last year when Arguello was cast on the Longoria-produced dating show “Ready for Love,” spent the Fourth of July holiday weekend together in Paris.

After visiting the Cathedral of Notre Dame, Arguello shared a photo of the two at the chapel.

The entrepreneur tweeted on Sunday, “@NorteDame de Paris w/ @evalongoria thanking #God for finding each other!”

Longoria retweeted the post.
