Elton John and Madonna have made peace.

Last year, a feud between the two superstars was marked by John’s blistering diss of Madonna as a “nightmare” who “looks like a f**king fairground stripper” and whose career was “over.”

But in a new interview with “Extra,” John reveals that he and Madonna ran into each other in a restaurant in France, where he “apologized profusely” for his comments.

“She was very gracious, she accepted my apology… that’s over and done with,” said John.

Elton John: Lady Gaga Is Godmother to BOTH Of My Sons

Elton John really likes Lady Gaga.

The music legend reveals in a new interview that Gaga is godmother not just to his two-year-old son Zachary, but also his 3-month-old baby boy Elijah.

“She’s a great role model. She’s young. She’s been a great godmother to Zachary,” John tells “Extra.”

He recalls one time when Gaga “came to bath” Zachary in Las Vegas, revealing, “She was already dressed to go to the show, and she was sitting there and she bathed him, and she was like dressed like Audrey Hepburn.”

“We’re all bonkers in this business, but we’re human beings at the same time,” adds John.

Elijah, who was born in January, is the singer’s second child with partner David Furnish.

LISTEN: Fall Out Boy and Elton John Team Up for “Save Rock and Roll”

In one of the more surprising collaborations in recent memory, Elton John is featured on the new Fall Out Boy song, “Save Rock and Roll.”

The band premiered the track on Monday, which prominently showcases John on the second verse and throughout the rest of the track.

Singer Patrick Stump hinted at the collaboration last month, posting a Tumblr photo (see right) of himself in the studio with the music legend.

The new FOB album, which is also called Save Rock and Roll and features Courtney Love, will officially be released in May, but is currently available for streaming.

The group explained, “Because without you, the most important piece, this record would never have been made. so we figured you have waited long enough… with out further ado, please listen closely.”
