“Love really does cost a thing if you’re LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian,” begins a ridiculous story from Star, which claims “the country singer pays her hubby for sex!”

What?!

The magazine, which has previously claimed the pair was having a baby — and then getting a $50 million divorce – now says Rimes “is constantly in the mood due to a ‘sexual awakening,’” while Cibrian supposedly “would rather plop himself in front of the TV and watch sports.”

According to the tab, “Since the ‘Spitfire’ singer already pays for most of the couple’s household expenses, she decided to stop begging Eddie for quality time and start bribing him for it.”

“It’s almost like their foreplay,” alleges a bogus “insider” for the mag, who claims Cibrian has “already earned himself a $6,000 mountain bike, along with hefty wads of cash.”

Meanwhile, Star has earned itself zero credibility with this preposterous story.

Rimes and Cibrian are married.

She does not pay him for sex.

The tabloid knows absolutely nothing about the couple’s private relationship.

Gossip Cop checked in with a rep for Cibrian, who tells us, “Star has really stooped to the lowest levels of journalism,” adding that the publication “should be ashamed and embarrassed” for this made up report.

LeAnn Rimes “Faked” Pregnancy To Keep Eddie Cibrian From Leaving, Claims Tab

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian are “falling apart,” reports Star, which claims the singer “faked” a pregnancy in an effort to keep her husband from leaving her.

A supposed “friend” tells the tabloid, “She’s actually told people that she’s pregnant and says weird things like, ‘I can’t believe this finally happened’ — but she’s not pregnant.”

No, that never happened.

Star, on the other hand, FALSELY reported Rimes was pregnant last February, and then again in July.

Anyway, the magazine goes on to claim that Cibrian is also fed up with his wife’s feud with Brandi Glanville.

The so-called “pal” says, “LeAnn wants to prove Brandi is an unfit mother; she wants full custody of the boys.”

“She’s trying to start rumors that Brandi has drugs in her home, so she interrogates the boys whenever they come over,” alleges the “friend.”

No, she’s not.

The only one starting rumors here is Star.

The tab ran a 100 percent FALSE cover story last month claiming Rimes and Cibrian were getting a $50 million divorce.

Rimes and Cibrian had just returned from vacation together when the embarrassingly wrong report hit newsstands.

Regardless, Gossip Cop checked in with a rep for Cibrian on the mag’s latest tale, and we’re told there’s “not even an ounce of truth in their story.”

CLAIM: LeAnn Rimes “Packs On 38 Pounds” After Gorging on Comfort Food

Truth rating: 0

LeAnn Rimes is “embarrassed about her 38-pound weight gain,” according to the National Enquirer, which reports that the country singer “is such an emotional wreck over her floundering marriage to skirt-chasing Eddie Cibrian that she’s been pigging out on fattening comfort food.”

“Poor LeAnn is so distraught over fears that Eddie is going to cheat on her that she’s drowning her emotions with junk food,” explains a so-called “insider” for the tabloid. “She’s gobbling up everything in sight.”

The Enquirer says that’s why she didn’t attend last week’s CMA Awards.

“She feels physically unattractive and didn’t want to try to squeeze into a formal gown,” claims the mag’s source.

Uh-huh.

Above is a picture of Rimes — with Cibrian, happy, and showing her body, which is not 38 pounds heavier — on November 5.

The CMA Awards were one day later.

Unless Rimes’ body (and body image) changed dramatically in those 24 hours, this story is as bogus as it sounds.

Of course, the Enquirer has a dreadful track record reporting on Rimes, so this type of sensationalism is no surprise.

A source close to the star tells Gossip Cop the latest report is “totally false.”
