Chris Brown is countersuing Deanna Gines, the woman who claims Brown pushed her to the ground outside a California club last June.

Gines has alleged that she injured her knee when Brown supposedly assaulted her near Heat Ultra Lounge in Anaheim — an accusation that the performer has vehemently denied since the beginning.

Eyewitnesses and the club owner have supported Brown’s version of events.

Now his attorney Mark Geragos has filed a countersuit against Gines, according to TMZ.

Brown’s camp argues that the star never had any contact with Gines, and that she faked her supposed injury.

Furthermore, she is alleged to have been extremely intoxicated and belligerent throughout the night in question.

The countersuit portrays her as an opportunist hoping to use Brown’s presence at the same club as a cash grab.

Chris Brown is blasting allegations that he assaulted a woman named Deanna Gordon at a club over the weekend.

The performer tweeted at TMZ, which first reported Gordon’s accusations, “pleae stop with the false stories. I don’t usually comment but I didn’t do anything. Had a great show at powerhouse and a positive one.”

Gordon was misidentified as “Deanna Gines” in the initial report.

A spokesman for the Anaheim PD tells Gossip Cop they received a call on Sunday – a day after the alleged incident — and were told that while Gordon was at the Heat Ultra Lounge, she was “pushed by a male suspect” and was “injured.”

The police note that this the assault allegation is an “open” investigation.

Gordon told TMZ doctors informed her she’d torn knee ligaments and may need surgery.

Chris Brown is being accused of assaulting a woman named Deanna Gines at a club over the weekend, allegedly shoving Gines to the ground and hurting her badly enough that she could need surgery.

Gines claims she was in the VIP section at Heat Ultra Lounge in Anaheim, California on Saturday when Brown allegedly pushed her to the ground, according to TMZ.

She alleges it was deliberate.

Gines filed a police report, and cops are now investigating the alleged incident.

Brown has yet to respond to the accusation.

According to TMZ, Gines says doctors told her the incident tore ligaments in her right knee, and that she may need an operation.

A rep for Brown tells Gossip Cop, “I’m unaware of the incident, as is Chris’ lawyer and his entire team.”

The rep says of the allegations, “None of this makes sense.”
