Katie Holmes Has “Sights Set” On George Clooney, Claims Tab

Katie Holmes has her “sights set” on George Clooney, reports the Daily Mail.

Picking up on a story from Grazia, the tabloid claims the pair had “serious chemistry” when she attended his Gravity premiere in New York on October 1.

The paper alleges that Holmes and Clooney have recently “grown close” and “have enjoyed a number of dinner dates over the last few weeks after getting on like a house on fire at a dinner party.”

“A house on fire”? That sounds serious!

Anyway, the Daily Mail quotes a purported “insider” as saying, “They’re both single and have met up a couple of times since the dinner party. Katie really has her sights set on him. There is a genuine connection.”

The supposed “source” adds, “They are enjoying their new flirtation. He’s a fun guy with buckets of charisma and Katie loves his company.”

You gotta love a guy with buckets of charisma.

Unfortunately for the tabloid, however, this story is 100% made up.

Gossip Cop checked in with a close Holmes pal, who tells us the dating report is complete “b.s.”

Rihanna RIPS Daily Mail Reporter For Story: You’re a ‘Sloppy, Menopausal Mess!’

Rihanna has taken to Instagram to absolutely BLAST a Daily Mail reporter for calling the singer a “toxic role model” in an editorial piece.

On Monday, journalist Elizabeth Jones published a story on Rihanna titled, “Pop’s poisonous princess: Glorying in drugs, guns and sleaze, Rihanna’s toxic role model for her army of young fans,” in which she slammed the performer for “going back to her abusive boyfriend, Chris Brown,” posting photos of marijuana, and wearing racy clothing.

Jones chastised Rihanna for “[promoting] drug-taking, drinking and the sort of fashion sense on stage that surely invites rape at worst, disrespect at least,” and “infecting our High Streets with her gun tattoos, her false nails and fake hair.”

The “Diamonds” singer was NOT happy with the story.

Rihanna fired back at Jones via Instagram, posting a photo of Jones (above) and blasting her reporting in the caption.

The star wrote, “LOL!!!! My money got a bad habit of pissing people off!! If you sincerely wanna help little girls more than their own parents do, here’s a toxic tip: don’t be amateur with your articles, you sound bitter!”

Rihanna continued, “What’s all this about hair and nails and costumes and tattoos?? ….That sh*t ain’t clever!!! That sh*t ain’t journalism! That’s a sad sloppy menopausal mess!!!”

The performer went on to defend herself against Jones and others who have called her a role model to young girls, saying, “‘Role Model’ is not a position or title that I have ever campaigned for, so chill wit dat! I got my own f**ked up sh*t to work on, I’ll never portray that as perfect, but for right now it’s ME!!”

Rihanna also mocked Jones’ writing, saying, “Toxic was cute, Poisonous Pop Princess had a nice ring to it, just a lil wordy!”

She concluded by calling out the Daily Mail journalist’s inaccuracy in reporting that Rihanna got her first American Vogue cover in November 2012.

“And P.S. my first American Vogue cover was in 2011…APRIL!!!” added Rihanna.

Robert Pattinson, Katy Perry Relationship “Getting Curiouser and Curiouser”?

“R-Patz and Katy Perry are spotted together at wedding rehearsal… as it’s claimed their friendship caused Kristen Stewart split,” reads the headline of a story from the Daily Mail, which goes on to claim that the nature of the “Firework” singer’s relationship with Robert Pattinson “is getting curiouser and curiouser.”

After noting how Pattinson and Perry recently hung out in New York and were reportedly spotted randomly checking out a wedding dress rehearsal in Santa Barbara, California over the weekend, the British tab then credits Life & Style (of all places) for reporting that the singer prodded  the Twilight star to dump Stewart.

A so-called “source” for the tab is quoted as saying, “Katy told Rob she didn’t think their relationship could withstand the cheating scandal. And he deserved better than someone who would destroy a family.”

Enough.

(1) There is absolutely nothing going on between Pattinson and Perry, an insider tells Gossip Cop.

(2) Perry did NOT tell or cause her platonic pal to split from Stewart.

Anything else you read about this is a fabrication.
