On Sunday’s “Celebrity Apprentice: All-Stars,” the celebs were challenged to create a display and ad campaign for Melania Trump’s new caviar skin care line.

Penn Jillette and Dennis Rodman stepped up to lead Team Plan B and Power, respectively.

Rodman immediately embarrassed his team when he told Melania he wanted to visit her bathroom and see which products she really uses, and then furthered annoyed his colleagues by offering lackluster ideas and little to no direction.

In contrast, Jillette immediately prioritized the various parts of the task, and quickly decided on a slogan — “Nourish Your Skin With Caviar” — before the team split up to handle different aspects.

The group later changed its motto to the more luscious “Let Your Skin Taste The Luxury,” and planned to go “caviar crazy” with their display.

Brande Roderick compared Rodman’s organization skills and focus to her 2-year-old son as she and the rest of her team took charge with props and the slogan — “Simply… Melania, Simply… Luxury” — while the NBA star repeatedly failed to contribute anything worthwhile.

Jillette’s team hit their first hiccup when Eric Trump came to visit, and the project manager became upset when everyone stopped working to talk to him, and rudely told the adviser in an “ugly tone” that it would be better if he left.

During their presentation, Jillette took what he called an “honest and direct” approach, but raised eyebrows when he called Melania a “spokeswoman” and said he was “maggotting” in left-over caviar.

Rodman’s team gave a much more structured presentation, with Roderick at the helm, but the team group shockingly failed to notice that Melania was prominently misspelled on one of the display signs — a screw-up that greatly upset the beauty and left her stunned.

In the boardroom, Trace Adkins called Rodman out for being too hands-off as a leader, while Gary Busey said Jillette was “excellent.”

Rodman’s team was stunned when Jillette and company pointed out the typo on their advertorial, but Rodman tried to downplay it as just being “a letter” that was wrong, and pointed out the other team’s faux pas in calling Melania a “spokeswoman.”

But the misspelling was enough to do Rodman’s team in, and Team Plan B won for the fourth week in a row, earning Jillette $40,000 for his charity, Opportunity Village.

Afterward, Rodman continued to minimize the spelling mistake, and even Adkins blamed the designer for the typo — before also pointing out that Rodman approved every page before it went to print.

Roderick also blamed Rodman for being a poor project manager, but acknowledged that Adkins was the one in charge of the advertorial.

Rodman opted to let Roderick and Lil Jon exit the boardroom, leaving him and Adkins to debate who was ultimately to blame for the mistake, and thus the loss.

Adkins noted that the overall display was liked, to his credit, and said that the screw-up was “embarrassing” for the whole team, but reiterated that Rodman had the final approval.

In the end, Donald Trump uttered “You’re fired!” to Rodman.

While noting that the athlete had been on the chopping block almost every single week, Trump commended Rodman for making a personal comeback after his disastrous first stint on the show, and deemed him, “most valuable player” of the season thus far.

Celebrity Apprentice All-Stars Recap: Who Was Fired After Intense Screaming Match?

On Sunday’s one-hour edition of “Celebrity Apprentice: All Stars,” the remaining contestants were asked to create and sell 3-D art at a gallery event.

Before the task got under way, however, Trace Adkins was moved from Team Plan B to Power so that both groups now had five members each, and he was none too pleased about the change.

Lil Jon stepped up to lead Power, while Lisa Rinna took the reins of Plan B despite her concerns about leading a fundraising challenge.

Rinna was further worried that Adkins would bring big donors to his new team.

“How can we lose?” boasted Omaraosa after touting her new colleague’s financial connections.

Both teams were unsure how much to focus on the art itself, since the total money raised in the end, by whatever means, would be the deciding factor.

Rinna was thrown for a pleasant loop when Blue Man Group, pals of Penn Jillette who also appeared last season, showed up with $15,000 hidden in jello molds.

Omarosa, meanwhile, struggled to bring in big bucks even after Jon warned that those who raised the lowest will be brought back into the boardroom if they lost.

In the boardroom, Rinna was very confident, and said Penn was the “star” of their team for bringing in $85,000 — as opposed to Stephen Baldwin who brought in just $5,000, but blamed his project manager for stealing a sale out from under him.

There was also a similar disagreement as to whether Marilu Renner should get the financial credit for selling Gary Busey‘s creations.

It was also revealed that Omarosa narrowly missed being the lowest fund-raiser on their team, beating Dennis Rodman by just $2,000.

It didn’t turn out to be enough, though, as Jon’s team only raked in $179,500 total, significantly less than Rinna’s $225,000.

The win meant more than $400,000 would go to the actress’ charity pick, St. Jude’s Children’s Research.

Omarosa was quick to say that Jon should undoubtedly be fired as project manager, saying he boasted how he’d win this task but was then too hands-off to a fault.

And Rodman stressed that he was a team player, giving up the money earned from a valuable signed baseball bat from Derek Jeter to Jon’s personal total.

Adkins and Brande Roderick were eventually excused excused, leaving the remaining trio to continue to point fingers and pass the blame.

But despite his earlier claim that the numbers should be the sole basis for the firing, Jon said he’d liked to go forward with Rodman by his side.

Omarosa vehemently defended herself, leading to a screaming match with Rodman as the two yelled over each other about their own strengths and the other’s flaws.

But Donald Trump believed Rodman and Jon were more deserving to stay, despite his personal friendship with Omarosa.

“I adore you,” he told her. “We’ve had tremendous success together. You helped make the Apprentice. You helped to make me a star.

He then added, “But Omarosa, you’re fired.”

Celebrity Apprentice All-Stars Recap: Boardoom Shocker Leaves Trump Stunned

10:58 pm, March 24th, 2013

(NBC)

On Sunday’s “Celebrity Apprentice: All-Stars,” the contestants were tasked with creating interactive experiences inside glass trucks to promote Farouk hair products.

Marilu Henner and Team Plan B were in charge of marketing Bio-Silk, while model Claudia Jordan and Team Power were assigned Chi.

While Henner quickly decided on a concept, Jordan and her team couldn’t decide on much of anything and set out with no plan.

Both teams found themselves more productive after sending out ”weak link” Gary Busey and maninuplative Omarosa, respectively, on assignments.

Rivalries between the two teams heated up after Henner was the first to snag Miss USA for their presentation, leaving Jordan blindsided and trying to re-work her team’s plans with substitute “talent.”

With all the various parts of their concept taken care of, Henner and company set up their “Experience Silk” truck as a makeover center well before Jordan and her group even had all of their pieces at the presentation site.

They eventually set up their patriotism-inspired “Chi Wants YOU to be Beautiful” truck for mock fashion shoots, with a salon area outside in front.

Both groups then had to entice the public to try their experiences, and impress the Farouk execs with their creative uses of brand messaging.

In the boardroom, Jordan and Team Power were all smiles, happy with each other and confident that they won the challenge — until the project manager had to name her strongest (Brande Roderick) and weakest players (Dennis Rodman and Omarosa).

Henner credited everyone on her team with stepping up to the plate, but reluctantly said Busey was still the weakest player on their team.

It was revealed the execs loved the entertainment value of Henner’s presentation, the use of products, and the incorporation of Miss USA, but disliked their slogan, which Trace Adkins had come up with.

The execs were also pleased with Jordan’s team’s American theme, especially Lil Jon dressed in an Uncle Sam get-up, but didn’t like that the style portion wasn’t done inside the truck.

Ultimately, while the execs liked both group’s experiences overall, they “loved” Plan B more, leaving Henner in tears and with a minimum of $50,000 for the Alzheimer’s Association.

That left a “devastated” Jordan and her Power teammates to figure out where they went wrong, and who was to blame.

For the second week in a row, Donald Trump was shocked by the decision not to bring Omarosa back into the boardroom, with Jordan instead stunningly selecting Lil Jon — who was praised as the “star” of their presentation — along with Rodman.

Jordan quickly told Jon to team up with her against Rodman, and the two attempted to make the case for why the former NBA star didn’t do enough for their team.

Trump wasn’t sold, and said “You’re fired!” to Jordan, holding her responsible as project manager.

Are you surprised by tonight’s firing?
