Jennifer Lopez Demanding $250,000 Engagement Ring From Casper Smart?

“Jennifer Lopez is anxious to get engaged to her young boyfriend of the past two years, Casper Smart, but there’s a catch — she’s insisting he buy her a massive 5-carat rock with his OWN cash!” declares the National Enquirer.

The tabloid, which has made up stories about Lopez slashing Smart’s alleged allowance and manufactured fights between the two, now says that Smart is “in a tough situation” because of her supposed ultimatum.

“Jennifer is dead-set on marrying Casper, but she feels that he needs to spend his own money on the engagement ring,” explains a so-called “source” for the Enquirer.

The mag’s insider adds, “If he dips into his own pocket, it will show everyone how serious he is about her, and how much she means to him.”

According to the Enquirer source, “She thinks he can easily afford the type of ring she wants, a flawless diamond that’s at least 5 carats and costs $250,000.”

Oh, is that all?

“Casper is beyond stressed because he really can’t afford a 5-carat diamond ring,” another person tells the outlet. “He doesn’t know what to do.”

Fortunately, we doubt Smart gets information about his own life from the Enquirer, so he’ll not need to worry about this phony dilemma.

Lopez is NOT forcing Smart to buy her any kind of engagement ring.

A source close to the situation tells Gossip Cop that there’s “zero truth” to the report.

Jennifer Lopez And Casper Smart “On The Rocks”?

Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart are “on the rocks,” says OK!, which claims the singer “is tired of footing the bill” for her boyfriend.

“Casper and J.Lo fight all the time,” a “source” tells the magazine. “They fight over the fact that Casper feels entitled when he shouldn’t. He forgets that and that’s when their fights break out.”

Hold up: Gossip Cop would just like to point out that no one actually close to Lopez calls her “J.Lo.”

Now that we’ve got that settled, OK! further claims the pair “had a doozy” of an argument in November after Smart allegedly “went on a $100,000 shopping spree on Jen’s dime.”

“It sparked ‘a huge blowout fight about the fact that he feels entitled to live the life of luxury [and] she doesn’t want him to forget that he came into the relationship with nothing and he’ll leave with nothing as well,’” says the outlet’s “source.”

And while Lopez allegedly feels all the luxuries they live with are “not his stuff,” the tab’s snitch points out that Smart is “living with her and of course he’s going to become accustomed to her lifestyle, because that’s the life that’s around him.”

Enough!

Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to the singer who tells us it’s “not true” that Lopeznand Smart are “on the rocks,” and even pints out the couple was just out for a “fun” dinner on Tuesday.

It’s also worth noting OK! is the same publication that said Lopez was pregnant last year and wrongly claimed again last month that the star was expecting and close to dumping Smart.

It seems the magazine’s Lopez sources are not “OK.”

MAG: Jennifer Lopez Might Be Pregnant and Breaking Up with Casper Smart

Jennifer Lopez might be pregnant and is about to split from Casper Smart, claims OK! magazine in a creative but completely false story.

Last November, the facts-challenged tabloid wrote that Lopez had a “suspicious-looking bump” and could be expecting a baby.

That was wrong.

Now, 11 months later, OK! says that Lopez was sporting a… “suspicious bump” last week in Los Angeles.

Here we go again.

Except this time the singer’s supposed pregnancy might be coming as she and Smart drift apart, says the mag.

“If Jen’s pregnant, there’s no doubt that it will have caused more than a few arguments, because Casper is not keen on becoming a father right now,” says an “insider” for OK!

Later, the source adds, “There’s no doubt Jen is surprised that they’ve lasted this long, and it’s because they’ve found a really solid friend in each other. It’s when talk of babies, cougars and money comes up that things go wrong.”

“If she is pregnant, and they’re going through a rough patch, which they are, Jen will be tempted to cast Casper off,” explains the OK! insider.

They’re NOT on the brink of breaking up.

She’s NOT pregnant.

Enough already.

A source close to the situation tells Gossip Cop the whole story is “incorrect.”
