Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have had their “WORST FIGHT EVER!” shrieks Star’s new cover story.

The outlet, of course, has a long history of getting stuff about the couple completely wrong.

There was Jolie’s fake “tan addiction,” her supposed “sex romp” to annoy Jennifer Aniston, a phony report about her fighting with Pitt over Scientology, their alleged competition with facial treatments, Pitt’s secret “baby” with Aniston, and numerous other sensational allegations that were proven false.

So when Star says that Jolie and Pitt have been “rocked by cheating!” — it’s important to remember the simple fact that Star has absolutely no idea what’s going on with the couple.

According to the new report, the Hollywood duo’s relationship is “hanging by a thread” because… they’re spending time apart working.

That’s basically it.

The tabloid brings up an alleged August 30 incident when Pitt supposedly had his arm around an unidentified brunette woman following the 12 Years a Slave premiere at the Telluride Film Festival.

There are no details about Pitt’s alleged “canoodling,” and the woman is never named.

Also, this supposedly happened more than three months ago — but it was never mentioned at the time or since.

But Star says Jolie “got word of her fiance’s indiscretion” and blew a gasket.

A so-called “insider” says she “called him, crying, and accused him of cheating on her while she’s been working her butt off and taking care of their kids… She told him that she thinks he’s been unfaithful many times and said she’ll never trust him again.”

The couple’s subsequent months apart while working on different movie projects, claims Star, were fraught with tension and fighting.

In early November, says the tabloid, “Brad and Angelina had an epic showdown over the phone.”

(Who is this “source” who hears their phone calls, we wonder?)

“This was the worst fight they’ve ever had,” the mystery insider tells Star. “There’s a good chance their relationship will never fully recover.”

Yawn.

This is nothing new for Star, which has been fabricating blowout fights between Jolie and Pitt for years.

Almost exactly four years ago, the same tabloid ran a bogus cover story about the couple’s supposed “FIGHT TO END ALL FIGHTS!”

How’d that work out, Star?

A source close to the situation tells Gossip Cop the magazine’s latest report is “completely false.”

CLAIM: Brad Pitt Reached Out to Comfort Jennifer Aniston About Justin Theroux

Jennifer Aniston’s sad demeanor since fiancé Justin Theroux moved to New York to work on his own projects has made her ex-husband Brad Pitt reach out across the miles,” reports OK!, which has been astoundingly wrong about Aniston so often it’s become more sad than funny.

(No, seriously: the tabloid’s disastrous and misguided reporting has become truly pitiful. We’re concerned.)

This time around, OK! claims Pitt “contacted Jen — and tried to reassure his ex not to panic about her troubled relationship with Justin.”

“Brad still knows Jen probably better than anyone in the world,” explains a so-called “insider” for the magazine. “He’s very perceptive and can tell she’s been having a tough time lately, which is why he decided to reach out to her.”

Nope, never happened.

Aniston and Theroux are not having problems, and Pitt did not reach out to her.

But some of the details OK! makes up are priceless.

The tabloid says that during a break on the set of Fury in the English countryside earlier this month, Pitt supposedly “called Jen’s cell phone” and “she answered after just a couple of rings.”

Wait, so OK! knows how many rings Aniston waited before picking up a phone call?

Is the NSA bugging phones for the tabloid now?

“After they swapped a few pleasantries, Brad asked Jen if she was okay and the floodgates opened,” the “source” tells the outlet. “She poured her heart out to Brad and told him all her troubles.”

According to the mag’s insider, “The pair talked for more than 40 minutes… Then they swapped dozens of texts over the next day or two before Jen’s bleak mood seemingly passed.”

Oh, now nice for OK! that Aniston’s alleged emotional meltdown was resolved so quickly, leaving behind no evidence.

None of this happened.

OK!‘s Aniston sources haven’t exactly proven reliable.

An actual insider close to the actress tells Gossip Cop the story is “totally false.”

Angelina Jolie Buying $20 Million Heart-Shaped Island For Brad Pitt?

Angelina Jolie is “splashing out” nearly $20 million to buy Brad Pitt a “heart-shaped island,” claims The Mirror, which has reported inaccurately on the couple for years.

Back in 2011, the outlet wrote that Jolie and Pitt were adopting a girl named Leah from Haiti — that was bogus.

Last year, the newspaper claimed that Jolie was “dead-set” on starring in Fifty Shades of Greywhich was simply not true.

Now the Mirror says the actress-director thinks Petra — an 11-acre island featuring two homes designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, located 50 miles off the coast New York — “would be a perfect 50th birthday gift for her superstar partner.”

“The house is perfect for romantic getaways or as a family retreat. It’s very private. And Angelina knows the fact the island is in the shape of a heart will mean so much to him,” explains a so-called “source” for the outlet.

That does sound nice.

Unfortunately, there’s absolutely no basis for the story.

Given the Mirror’s sloppy track record with Jolie and Pitt, Gossip Cop reached out to sources close to the couple to confirm the report — and none of them had heard anything about it.

It looks like this grand romantic gesture is just a tabloid fantasy.
