Miranda Lambert & Blake Shelton “Having Twins!” Says Lame Tabloid Bait and Switch

Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton are “Having Twins!” blares the cover of OK!, which teases, “Their dreams come true as the couple celebrates their second wedding anniversary.”

Ooh!

However, inside its pages, the magazine tells a totally different (non)story.

The tab merely “reports” that Lambert would like to have twins, quoting a supposed “source” as saying, “Miranda says she’s had her heart set on having twins ever since she was a kid.”

“A boy and a girl would be perfect,” the made up insider adds.

And that’s literally all the mag has to contribute to the world this week.

Blake Shelton and wife Miranda Lambert teamed up for an emotional tribute to the victims of the Moore, Oklahoma tornado on Tuesday’s “The Voice.”

The disaster claimed the lives of 24 people — including 9 children — when it tore through the city on Monday.

The couple have a home in the state, where they reside most of the year, and Shelton was raised in Oklahoma as well.

Together they performed “Over You,” Lambert’s song that she co-wrote with Shelton about his brother’s death.

TAB: Miranda Lambert “Drinking A Lot” Due To Blake Shelton Marriage Trouble

“Miranda’s Marriage Crisis: Drinking to Escape the Loneliness?” blares a headline about Miranda Lambert from In Touch, which seems to have based its entire story on the country singer being photographed having a drink at the Kentucky Derby earlier this month.

The mag reports that the star was “knocking back cocktails” and “rocking out” at the annual horse race in Louisville, noting that Blake Shelton was “conspicuously absent from the wild night.”

A so-called “source” for the tab claims Lambert has been “drinking a lot” as she and Shelton spend time apart due to their busy careers.

The purported “insider” says, “She may act like everything is okay, but it’s not. You can see it in her eyes.”

Now that right there is some rock hard evidence.

Anyway, In Touch’s “source” goes on to allege that “things aren’t good between them,” and that’s why Lambert is supposedly “turning to alcohol to numb the pain.”

Well, that all sounds like the perfect makings of a new country song.

Not to mention, completely fabricated.

For some reason, the tabloids have recently been obsessed with the false notion that Lambert and Shelton are having marital trouble, despite the couple publicly mocking the stupid stories on Twitter.

And the country duo just celebrated their second wedding anniversary on May 14, and with both Lambert and Shelton sharing sweet messages to each other on Twitter.

In any case, Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to the couple, who tells us the pair is doing just fine, and calls the Lambert drinking claims “so wrong.”
