Miranda Lambert “Ordered” Blake Shelton Into Rehab, Claims Mag

“Miranda Lambert has ordered boozing hubby Blake Shelton into rehab!” announces the National Enquirer, which claims Lambert “fears for the marriage unless the ‘Voice’ coach sobers up.”

The mag, which has published a slew of inaccurate reports about the couple, quotes a so-called “source” as saying, “Miranda is not only afraid for Blake’s health, she’s just as scared that when he’s hitting the sauce someday he’ll stray, or have an accident.”

“Hitting the sauce”? Are we supposed to believe that people really talk like this?

Anyway, the tabloid’s purported “insider” adds, “She doesn’t see him living long like this, and she’s demanding that Blake get help.”

“At this point, Miranda realizes a trip to rehab is a must for Blake, and she’s trying to get his head right with it,” alleges the magazine’s “source.”

Really?

NO.

While Shelton is certainly open about his penchant for drinking, it’s not threatening his marriage to Lambert and she’s not pushing him into rehab.

This is just another one of the Enquirer’s weak attempts to cause drama with the country duo.

Gossip Cop checked in with a source close to the pair, who tells us the tab’s story is totally “false.”

Blake Shelton “Heart Scare” Left Him “Gasping For Breath”?

The National Enquirer loves phony health scares and bogus speculation about Blake Shelton.

Why not combine the two?

According to the tabloid, “Miranda Lambert is cracking the whip — and forcing her hard-partying hubby Blake Shelton to shape up after a recent heart scare.”

Heart scare?

“Blake had a serious scare recently,” explains a so-called “source” for the Enquirer. “He went to bed after a wild night of downing tequila, beer and tubs of fried chicken and woke up in the middle of the night with searing pain shooting from his chest through his arms.”

The tab’s insider continues, “He was gasping for air for a few minutes before he finally pulled himself together. He called Miranda, who’s been on tour, and she told him to rush to an emergency room.”

Wow, that sounds scary.

Why didn’t we read about Shelton going to the hospital with chest pains?

Because, conveniently for the Enquirer, “the pain passed, and Blake later attributed it to heartburn or indigestion.”

Oh, come on.

“It was a huge wake-up call, though,” says the magazine’s source.

Actually, this should be (yet another) “wake-up call” to the Enquirer: Get better Shelton sources.

An actual source close to the situation tells Gossip Cop the supposed health scare never happened.

Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton ‘Drinking Their Marriage Away,’ Claims Star

Another week, another bogus Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton tabloid story.

Star now claims the couple is “drinking their marriage away.”

According to the magazine, “Though partying is something Miranda and Blake bond over, friends say it’s only served to amplify Miranda’s jealousy and Blake’s uncontrollable flirting — leading to a vicious cycle of drinking, fighting and drinking more as a means to cope.”

A so-called “insider” tells the tab, “Alcohol is the root of 90 percent of their problems. Blake likes to provoke Miranda when he’s drunk — he talks constantly about other women he thinks are sexy.”

At this point, Star brings up the discredited rumor about Shelton having an affair with Cady Groves — a story so baseless the couple publicly mocked it.

Then the magazine turns to some random doctor who’s never treated Shelton or Lambert to announce, “Alcohol is one of the top destroyers of marriages. The way they communicate is severely affected in a negative way when a couple are consistently intoxicated.”

Thanks, doc.

Unfortunately for Star, none of this actually applies to Shelton and Lambert.

While the couple makes no secret of its fondness for a good time, it’s their openness with each other that’s become as notable as Star’s sketchy reporting on them.

This is just more of the same.

A source close to the situation tells Gossip Cop the Star report is “ridiculous.”
