Christina Aguilera and Cher Locked In “Nasty” Feud on The Voice, Says Mag

“Christina Aguilera cooked up a nasty plan to spite her nemesis Cher, who is serving as a guest advisor on ‘The Voice’: stick her with Blake Shelton!” begins a nonsensical report from Star.

The mag claims the singers “have hated each other since locking horns on the set of their 2010 box-office bomb, Burlesque,” and therefore Aguilera allegedly refused to work with Cher on the NBC singing competition series.

A so-called “source” tells the tabloid, “It makes more sense for Cher and Christina to partner up, since they’re both pop singers, but Christina wouldn’t even consider it.”

Cher has supposedly hit back by buddying up to Shelton, says the purported “insider,” who adds, “She’s rubbing Christina’s face in it — suddenly Christina is the odd man out.”

Oh no!

Please.

This story is completely ridiculous.

There’s no bad blood between the singers.

A source close to Aguilera tells Gossip Cop the magazine’s story is “far-fetched,” noting, “Cher and Christina weren’t even on set the same day.”

MAG: Blake Shelton and Cher Hate Each Other, Fighting on The Voice

Blake Shelton picked Cher to mentor his team on “The Voice,” and now the two are “clashing so much that they’re barely on speaking terms,” claims the National Enquirer.

“Cher wishes she never agreed to be Blake’s team member,” a so-called “set insider” tells the tabloid. “She can’t stand him. She’s already called him a big jerk and told him how much she hated him.”

The Enquirer source adds, “While she’s a fan of Blake’s musical talent, she can’t seem to get over his backwoods, country cowboy ways and his constant flirting with the sexier female singers on the show.”

According to the outlet, things recently got ugly when Cher overheard Shelton’s “long political rant about how President Obama is ‘ruining the country.’”

After Cher allegedly warned Shelton to leave his politics at home, he responded by saying, “Listen, sweetheart…,” at which point the Enquirer says Cher exploded.

“She called him a jerk and said he was ‘nothing but a dumb cowboy,’” claims the Enquirer tipster. “Blake retaliated and called her a ‘typical Hollywood liberal,’ and that’s when she really went off, yelling, ‘I hate you!’”

How dramatic!

How fabricated!

A week ago, the Enquirer floated a completely made-up story about Miranda Lambert warning Shelton to “stay away” from “cougar” Cher.

The magazine failed to establish romantic tension between the two stars, so now it’s trying to create a feud.

A source close to the situation tells Gossip Cop that Shelton and Cher get along perfectly well, and that the Enquirer report is “totally wrong.”

Miranda Lambert Tells Blake Shelton to ‘Stay Away’ From ‘Cougar’ Cher, Says Mag

Miranda Lambert wants Blake Shelton to stay away from Cher, claims the latest National Enquirer story about the couple.

The outlet has already said Lambert was in a “jealous rage” over Shelton’s “The Voice” co-star Shakira (not true) and had allegedly encouraged him to dump pal Adam Levine for Usher (false).

Last spring, the Enquirer alleged that the country music couple was heading for “splitsville” (wrong again).

Now the tabloid seems to be trying to top itself.

According to the Enquirer, Lambert has supposedly told Shelton: “Stay away from Cher! That woman’s a cougar!”

Cher is going to be a mentor on this season of “The Voice,” and the mag says Lambert is “worried that the 67-year-old Grammy winner will try to live the lyrics to one of her hit songs and ‘turn back time.’”

“Miranda knows Cher’s a man-eater who likes strapping men in their thirties,” explains one of the mag’s sources.

The Enquirer insider adds that Lambert is especially concerned because Cher “has a history of bedding hot entertainers many years her junior.”

Wow, what a completely natural-sounding quote (cough).

At an awards show on September 10, Lambert allegedly “laid down the law,” says the tab’s tipster.

“She told Blake not to get too close to Cher because of her reputation as a femme fatale,” explains the Enquirer insider.

Uh-huh.

Well, we know what the tabloid’s “reputation” is at this point.

There is absolutely NO TRUTH to this absurd story about Cher making Lambert jealous and nervous.

A source close to the situation tells Gossip Cop the Enquirer report is a “total joke.”
