One Direction tops the annual Billboard 21 Under 21 rankings of the world’s “most powerful” young music stars — or, as the magazine creepily puts it, “hottest minors.”
Second places goes to Justin Bieber, with Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande ranked third and fourth, respectively.
The methodology combines music sales, touring, buzz, social media influence, etc. — and the rankings are sure to generate debate.
