The Backstreet Boys received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Monday, an honor that coincides with the group’s 20th anniversary.
The boy band’s celebrations actually began in Los Angeles on Saturday, with the singers and their fans gathering for a free intimate concert, where they previewed new songs as well as their upcoming documentary.
Then on Monday, everyone gathered again in Hollywood for the unveiling of their star.

In addition to a large showing of fans, the group was joined by longtime producer Max Martin, as well as their families.
BSB’s official anniversary is April 20, 1993, the day the fivesome — Brian Littrell, Kevin Richardson, Nick Carter, A.J. McLean and Howie Dorough — first sang together in Orlando.
Next month, the group will begin a world tour.
