Anne Hathaway is facing a dairy disaster,” declares Star.

The tabloid says the Oscar winner’s upcoming Got Milk? ad campaign was “abruptly canceled” because she “blabbed that she’s lactose intolerant.”

“She really, really wants to be loved and thought this would be a fun way to get her face in every magazine in America,” explains a so-called “insider” for Star. “It never dawned on her that she might not be right for the campaign since she doesn’t even drink dairy milk!”

Um, this story makes no sense.

Since Star printed it, we shouldn’t be surprised.

After all, the tabloid recently claimed that Hathaway might quit Hollywood because of online haters (false), was making weird demands of her staff (wrong), and had her memoir rejected (never happened).

In this case, there was no Got Milk? campaign to be “abruptly canceled.”

Hathaway didn’t suddenly remember she was lactose intolerant after starting work on a dairy campaign.

She never had any Got Milk? plans whatsoever, a rep for Hathaway tells Gossip Cop.

Nothing was canceled, nothing was changed, and there is no “dairy disaster.”

Just more Star silliness.

Anne Hathaway Memoir Got Rejected?

Truth rating: 0

“Don’t hold your breath waiting for Anne Hathaway’s autobiography,” writes Star.

The tabloid “has heard that the actress’ not-so-highly anticipated memoir was rejected by numerous publishing houses when she pitched the idea of writing her life story.”

“Anne was told flat out that her life isn’t just that interesting and she’s just not popular enough,” explains a so-called “insider” for Star. “She is crushed because she thought she had a best-seller.”

Uh-huh.

We’re not sure why Star magazine’s sources keep making up stuff about Hathaway’s career… but they do.

In March, the magazine speculated that Hathaway might quit acting because of online haters.

That was false, and so is this story.

Hathaway never shopped a book to publishers, and was never rejected.

“Completely false,” a rep tells Gossip Cop. “She has never even contemplated writing a book.”

Anne Hathaway Making Staff Call Her “Miss Hathaway”?!

Truth rating: 0

4:32 pm, May 29th, 2013

(GettyImages.com)

Anne Hathaways smug attitude has put her on shaky ground with fans and friends for months — and her latest demand certainly won’t help,” begins a piece from Star.

So, what has the star supposedly done now?

According to a so-called “insider” for the tab, “Anne is making everyone on her staff call her Miss Hathaway, even the ones who have been with her for years!”

The purported “source” goes on to allege, “It’s a new rule since her Oscar win, and when someone accidentally called her Anne, she reprimanded him big-time.”

“What’s next, she refers to herself in third person? It’s ridiculous!” complains the fake spy.

Star’s bogus mole further claims that Hathaway is also annoying her team by “openly comparing herself to Grace Kelly.”

“People just can’t take her arrogance,” says the supposed insider.

Oh, please.

This ridiculousness is coming from a publication which recently reported Hathaway was trading in her dog for a “stylish new puppy” in order to be seen as “hip” in Hollywood.

Translation: The mag likes to fabricate stories that make the actress seem unlikeable because that’s the tabloid trend of the moment.

It all amounts to nothing.

A rep for Hathaway tells Gossip Cop there’s “no truth at all” to the tab’s silly tale, adding, “Most people in her life call her Annie not Anne, anyway.”

Oops.
