Amy Poehler pranked her old “Saturday Night Live” pal Seth Meyers on Thursday’s “Watch What Happens Live.”

The “Parks and Recreation” star pretended to be a stranger when she called into Andy Cohen’s show, asking Meyers about his experience working with her.

After the “Weekend Update” anchor offered effusive praise for his departed colleague, Poehler came clean and revealed her identity, much to Meyers’ surprise.

The “Parks and Recreation” star’s untitled project is being touted by Harper Collins imprint It Books as an “illustrated, nonlinear diary full of humor and honesty and brimming with true stories, fictional anecdotes and life lessons.”

Poehler’s book is set to be released in 2014.
