Dr. Luke in American Idol Talks: Report

Will Dr. Luke take the last seat on the “American Idol” judges panel?
There’s a good chance, with the music producer-songwriter said to be in talks to join Jennifer Lopez and Keith Urban.
Luke was initially reported to be in the mix earlier this summer before execs heated up negotiations with will.i.am.
But the Black Eyed Peas frontman is now out of the running, and Luke is back in, according to Us Weekly.
Gossip Cop is seeking confirmation.
Luke is responsible for dozens of pop music’s biggest hits, including Kelly Clarkson’s “Since U Been Gone,” Katy Perry’s “I Kissed a Girl,” and countless others for Britney Spears, Avril Lavigne, Miley Cyrus, Ke$ha, and more stars.
He also performed in the “Saturday Night Live” band for 10 seasons.
