Amanda Seyfried talks about the Soteria Method of self-defense in a new video.

The actress says the experience of training in the techniques, created specifically for the female defender, has “changed my life.”

“You just need to outsmart the attacker,” explains Seyfried, who’s seen practicing with the method’s founder Avital Zeisler and a male “attacker.”

Amanda Seyfried is taking TMZ to task for a highly questionable headline joking about rape.

On Monday, the gossip outlet posted a picture of the actress’ beloved pet Finn mounting another dog at a park (see headline and photo below).

TMZ’s headline: “Amanda Seyfried’s Dog Rapes Other Dog.”

Many of the site’s commenters took issue with the wording, and Seyfried herself hit back at the site on Twitter.

“@TMZ – The encounter between Finn and unnamed Labrador was consensual,” tweeted the star.

She then added, “#dangerouswordtomakelightof #hardhittingjournalism #Pulitzer.”
