Madonna Breaks Down During Concert in Paris Attack Tribute: “They Want to Silence Us And We Won’t Let Them”

This Rebel Heart is bleeding. Madonna got emotional onstage during her concert in Stockholm, Sweden, on Saturday, Nov. 14, when she paused her performance to pay tribute to the victims of the Paris attacks.

“Obviously, this whole show is about celebrating life and standing up for your rights, fighting for what you believe in,” she began her speech to a packed house, setting her guitar aside. “It’s been very hard for me to get through the show up to this point, and not forget about what happened last night.”

The iconic pop singer then explained that she had felt “torn” about performing just one day after several terrorist shootings and suicide bombings shook the French capital on Friday, Nov. 13.

“In many ways I feel torn, because it’s like, why am I up here dancing and having fun when people are crying over the loss of their loved ones?” the 57-year-old singer shared. “However, that is exactly what these people want to do. They want to shut us up. They want to silence us, and we won’t let them. We will never let them.”

The singer, dressed in a colorful form-fitting outfit for the performance, added that she decided against canceling her show when she realized the magnitude of what it would have meant to do so.

“I was gonna cancel my show tonight but then I thought to myself, ‘Why should I give that to them? Why should I allow them to stop me and to stop us from enjoying freedom?'” she said. “All of the places where people were killed were places where people were having fun, people were enjoying themselves, eating in restaurants, dancing, singing, watching a soccer match. These are freedoms that we take for granted of course and we must not but they’re freedoms that we deserve, we work hard and we deserve to have fun and there is no one in this world that should have the right to stop us from doing what we love!”

“I don’t want waffles at a Waffle House,” Bourdain replies.

“Bull—-,” Brock says back to him. “You have to have pecan waffles.”

And suddenly, the No Reservations author changes his tune as he takes his first bite of the delicious breakfast item slathered in butter and drenched in maple syrup, his culinary world altered forever.

“Whoa, that’s good, that’s good,” Bourdain admits.

“You don’t come here expecting The French Laundry,” Brock says, referring to Chef Thomas Keller’s restaurant that Bourdain is known to love, and has featured previously on his show.

“No, this is better than The French Laundry!” Bourdain exclaims.

Diane Keaton Is a Major Belieber, Asks Ellen DeGeneres: “Do You Think He’ll Ask Me Out Later?”

You’re never too old to Belieb. Diane Keaton got the surprise of a lifetime on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Friday, Nov. 13, when the “What Do You Mean” singer sneaked up on the self-professed Belieber and gave her an impromptu hug in the middle of her interview.

The 69-year-old veteran actress blushed and giggled giddily when Justin Bieber, 21, ran up behind her seat and gave her a big bear hug after she had admitted her huge pop star crush to DeGeneres — even planting a kiss on the singer’s cheek.

The pair then shook hands cordially before Bieber bounded back off the stage.

“Let’s get real here. That’s real beauty,” a clearly flushed Keaton told DeGeneres afterward. “Do you think he’ll ask me out later? Do you think I have a chance?”

DeGeneres, 57, just laughed and offered the Love the Coopers actress some more of her own The Keaton brand wine.

Earlier in the segment, the talk show host showed several large photos of a shirtless Bieber (whom Keaton declared “gorgeous”) and asked Keaton if she considered herself a cougar.

“I’d like to, but I don’t have the opportunity,” Keaton responded with a straight face.
