NBC’s Saturday Night Live added its first African-American female in five years, with Sasheer Zamata becoming the late-night sketch show’s newest cast member.

The Upright Citizens Brigade alum will make her debut Jan. 18 with host and musical guest Drake. Zamata becomes the first black female SNL cast member since Maya Rudolph.

After SNL was criticized for its lack of diversity, producers held auditions for black female comedians in New York and Los Angeles — the first time the show exclusively focused on casting minority women.

SNL skewered itself during a recent sketch with Kerry Washington, who portrayed Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey and Beyonce.

Zamata’s YouTube channel offers a glimpse into what viewers can expect when she makes her debut on SNL, including spot-on portrayals of Beyonce, Michelle Obama and Rihanna.

In a video uploaded in 2009, Zamata portrays Obama in a skit where she shows the First Lady at her breaking point, getting into fights with construction workers and the homeless.

In another video, Zamata portrays Beyonce as a new mom breastfeeding her newborn while listening to the beat of “Run the World (Girls)” not long after the singer gave birth to Blue Ivy in 2011.

She attempts to sing like Beyonce, too. In one video, Zamata — as Queen B — sings to her baby with a framed mug shot of husband Jay Z in the background.

In a demo reel, Zamata shows she’s capable of becoming several several different characters, including an intimidating Rihanna answering media questions about her personal life and an angry Nicki Minaj reading Green Eggs and Ham.

She can be fierce like Tyra Banks, too.

Phil Robertson from “Duck Dynasty”

A video of Duck Dynasty star Phil Robertson has surfaced, telling a Georgia crowd to “marry these girls when they are 15 or 16. They’ll pick your ducks.”

The controversial family patriarch was reinstated to the A&E reality show on Dec. 27 after a nine-day suspension from the hit series following his comments in GQ magazine, which included him likening homosexuality to “bestiality.” Since he didn’t miss any filming, his temporary suspension will have no effect on the upcoming fifth season.

The footage that surfaced online Monday, which dates back to 2009, shows Robertson at a Georgia Sportsmen’s Ministry event.

According to the Daily Mail, the reality star also told the crowd how girls should cook and carry Bibles, because “that’ll save you a lot of trouble down the road.”

On Monday, Fox News Channel announced that Willie and Korie Robertson will appear on the network’s “All-American New Year” special, where they’ll be interviewed by Bill Hemmer and Elisabeth Hasselbeck. Their TV appearance will be the first for anyone from the Duck Dynasty family since the suspension. The New Years special airs 9 p.m. through 12:30 a.m. ET.

Naya Rivera is heading down the aisle with boyfriend of six months, Big Sean, a rep for the actress has confirmed.

The Glee star, who attended Latina magazine’s Hollywood Hot List Party Thursday night, displayed her ring from the 25-year-old rapper. Rivera also didn’t shy away from instagramming herself on the red carpet, wearing the rock.

Big Sean and Rivera first made their debut as a couple in April when they arrived together to the premiere of the film 42, after connecting through Twitter.

“I had followed him and he sent me a little message like, ‘I’m a fan.’ I tweeted that I followed him, I was trying to get his attention. We went to dinner and the rest is history,” Rivera explained to Access Hollywood about how she met with her soon-to-be husband.

The pair has also collaborated on Rivera’s debut single called, “Sorry,” which released in September.

“I think he’s incredibly talented, and has a great ear,” the 26-year-old actress and singer told Billboard last month of Sean. “He’s the big dog, and I’m just a little Chihuahua trying to come up.”

Glee, currently on its fifth season, sees Rivera star as Santana Lopez, while Big Sean released his sophomore album, Hall of Fame, in August.
