Brad Pitt’s mom, Jane, did NOT give him and Angelina Jolie marriage counseling, despite a new report. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust this rumor. We’re told by a source close to the actor it’s not true.

According to Life & Style, Pitt and Jolie have supposedly been having marriage problems ever since they wed last year, and Jane stepped in to help the couple work through their issues. The tabloid alleges that during a recent trip to visit with Jane in Missouri, she decided to give her son and his wife some “intense marriage counseling.” A so-called “family insider” is quoted in the tabloid as saying, “She came down really hard on both of them for not trying hard enough.”

The supposed “source” also tells the magazine Jane believes Jolie and Pitt’s marriage issues are “rich Hollywood problems” and are “fixable.” During the supposed marriage counseling session, says Life & Style, Jane read them verses from the Bible about love, and told Jolie she needs to “submit” to Pitt.

The magazine further notes Jolie and Pitt were initially “mortified and offended” by Jane’s marriage advice, but have now “softened after realizing she genuinely had good intentions.”

This tabloid’s claim is all very dramatic and untrue. A source close to the actor tells Gossip Cop the report is “not true,” and that no marriage counseling from Pitt’s mom ever happened. Of course, we’re not surprised the story is bogus. Gossip Cop has busted the tabloid several times for fabricating reports about Pitt and Jolie, including a story earlier this month that falsely alleged she was worried about his supposed drinking problem.

Rumer Willis is NOT on the verge of a nervous breakdown, despite a ridiculous new report. Gossip Cop can bust this rumor, which began in the pages one of the tabloids this week.

According to the National Enquirer, Willis is supposedly “freaking out over high expectations” since winning “Dancing With The Stars” earlier this year. The tabloid alleges Willis is “crumbling” under the pressure of her Broadway role in Chicago, and friends worry she’s on the verge of a “nervous breakdown.”

A so-called “source” tells the tabloid, “Rumer’s been a disaster in rehearsals… Taking on the starring role in a major production is way beyond anything she’s ever done before.” The magazine’s supposed “insider” further claims that Willis’ friends are concerned about her “behavior offstage.”

The tabloid then quotes its “source” as saying how Demi Moore is also worried about Willis because she doesn’t want her daughter to “suffer the same sort of collapse she went through when Ashton Kutcher dumped her.”

It should be noted that Gossip Cop has busted several rumors about Willis, including a March report from the National Enquirer’s sister publication Star, which falsely alleged Willis was “locked in a twisted tango” with Moore and her “Dancing With The Stars” partner Val Chmerkovskiy. Just as that story was completely wrong, so is the current tale. A rep for Willis denies the actress is on the verge of a breakdown.

Hilary Duff and Mike Comrie are NOT getting back together, despite a new report. Gossip Cop can bust this rumor, which began in one of the tabloid’s this week.

According to OK!, Duff and Comrie were supposedly spotted earlier this month getting cozy with each other at The Beverly Hills Hotel. The tabloid cites a so-called “source” as saying, “Hilary and Mike were very affectionate, openly kissing and touching… It seemed like more of a date.”

The supposed “eyewitness” further tells the magazine that Duff and her ex “looked happy and in love” and seemed “very relaxed and comfortable with each other.” A rep for Duff, however, denies OK!’s report saying the pair, who co-parent son Luca, are not getting back together and were not kissing at the hotel.

It should be noted Gossip Cop has busted OK! several times in the past for manufacturing stories about Duff and Comrie, including a report last May that falsely alleged the actress was going to join the Church of Scientology following her split from the hockey player. Gossip Cop also busted another OK! report last year that claimed Duff and Comrie had gotten back together after they were spotted hanging out at Coachella.
