Bruce Jenner is facing a possible wrongful death lawsuit by the stepchildren of Kim Howe, the woman killed in a car accident involving the reality TV personality in February. As Gossip Cop previously reported, Howe was driving her Lexus down the Pacific Coast Highway when Jenner’s Cadillac Escalade slammed into the back of her car, causing her to veer into oncoming traffic. Howe’s vehicle was struck by a Hummer, and she died at the scene.

The adult stepchildren of Howe are now preparing for a wrongful death lawsuit and have both sought out lawyers, reports TMZ. While neither stepchild had a close relationship with Howe, they are the only people who can legally file such a claim. Howe’s husband died in 2003, and her parents are also both deceased.

As Gossip Cop reported, Jenner was not texting or talking on his cell phone at the time of the accident, and he was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Investigators say the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star was only driving 38 MPH at impact, so speeding was also not an issue.

It’s worth noting that Howe’s stepchildren will not be inheriting her property. She left behind a will donating $55,000 to a variety of animal charities, including PETA, the Doris Day Animal League and The Elephant Sanctuary of Tennessee. Howe also had a trust with millions of dollars in assets, but that too will be donated to charity. Gossip Cop will have updates on any litigation.

Taraji P. Henson and Michael Strahan have not embarked on a romance, despite a new report implying that the pair is dating. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust this rumor. We’re told it’s simply not true.

According to an inaccurate story from Star, Henson and Strahan are “smitten” with each other after hitting it off earlier this week when the “Empire” actress filled in for Kelly Ripa as guest co-host on “Live With Kelly & Michael.” A so-called source tells the tabloid that Strahan “flirted openly” with Henson during the show, and afterwards they had “an intimate dinner” at the Mandarin Oriental hotel.

The tabloid adds that Strahan and Henson are planning to go out on even more dates. “They seemed to really hit it off, and Michael is really intrigued by her,” says the magazine’s bogus “source,” adding that Henson wants “to take things slow.” It’s very convenient of Star to say Henson wants to take things slow, so that its readers won’t remember how wrong the tabloid was in three to six months from now.

As Gossip Cop noted, a source close to Strahan tells us exclusively the dating rumor is not true. It should be noted, as well, the former football star was recently spotted vacationing in St. Barts with a blonde woman, who he’s reportedly been dating for a few months.

Miley Cyrus is throwing a one-year anniversary party to remember the painful passing of her beloved dog Floyd. Along with a throwback photo of herself kissing the husky, Cyrus announced on Instagram that she was throwing a “Floyd-amony” in honor of the her late dog.

On Wednesday, the pop star even posted photos of the decorations she already bought for her “Floyd-amony” (below), as well as ice cream and treats. In one picture, Cyrus wrote, “To all my fwends I miss so much… Love, Floyd. TWEATS FOR ALL FLOYDS FWENDS COMING!!!”

Prior to talking about the pooch party, Cyrus wrote, “It has been a year wayyy to long since I have got to hold him… my baby got taken wayyyyy to soon.” She added, “At times I didn’t know how I was going to go out there and perform and smile and pretend I wasn’t hurting… But with you I didn’t have to… I could show my pain and you all would console me… I love you.”

As Gossip Cop previously reported, Cyrus was extremely close to Floyd and took the dog’s passing very hard.
