Ladies from every state, as well as Puerto Rico and the District of Columbia, will be competing for the coveted Miss America crown, currently held by the 2015 winner Kira Kazantsev, who hails from New York.

“Bachelor” host Chris Harrison has been tapped again to host the Miss America pageant, making it his seventh year with the show. Celebrity judges include Zendaya, former “Dancing With the Stars” contestant Amy Purdy, country singer Brett Eldredge, “Shark Tank” star Kevin O’Leary and author Taya Kyle, the wife of late Navy Seal Chris Kyle. More judges are expected to be announced soon.

If Miss New York Jamie Lynn Macchia (above) wins the crown this year, it will mark the fourth time in a row New York has taken home the title. So far, New York, California, Ohio and Oklahoma have all won six Miss America titles in the past.

WATCH: One Direction “Drag Me Down” Music Video Premiere

Drag Me Down Video

(Vevo)

One Direction released the video for the song “Drag Me Down.” Harry Styles and his band mates Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Niall Horan surprised fans by dropping the music video early Friday morning. Watch it below!

In the video, One Direction is at NASA headquarters singing in hangars, as well as preparing for an outer space expedition. We seen them training for a mission in orange space outfits, and then eventually getting on a shuttle that takes off and orbits the Earth. It makes for an out-of-the-world video.

As Gossip Cop previously reported, One Direction released the song on July 31. “Drag Me Down” is the first single the band has released without Zayn Malik, who quit in March to launch a solo career. The song is also the lead single from One Direction’s upcoming fifth album.

“Drag Me Down” set records minutes after it was released on July 31. It became iTune’s fastest-selling single ever, and the song also became the most streamed song on Spotify. The same night “Drag Me Down” was released, One Direction performed it live for the first time in Indianapolis.

Terrence Howard Beats Taraji P. Henson On “Lip Sync Battle” Season Finale – WATCH VIDEO!

Terrence Howard beat Taraji P. Henson on Thursday’s “Lip Sync Battle” season finale. Check out the videos below!

As Gossip Cop reported, Spike TV’s “Lip Sync Battle” is a spinoff of Jimmy Fallon’s “Lip Sync Challenge” from “The Tonight Show” and “Late Night.” On the Spike TV version, two celebrities go head to head to see who’s better at faux singing. The winner is chosen at the end of the show by the audience after each celebrity performs two different songs.

This week, Henson and her “Empire” co-star Howard battled it out on the stage, with both stars performing the song “Hard Out Here For A Pimp,” from their 2005 movie Hustle & Flow, for a special round. Howard and Henson’s joint performance was the first time “Lip Sync Battle” had two competing celebrities fake sing a song together.

However, before their duet, Henson and Howard battled each other for the first solo round. The actress bought out Mary J. Blige to help her sing Blige’s 2007 song “Just Fine.” Donning a short blonde wig and a black pantsuit, Henson danced around the stage as she mouthed the words to the song. Following her performance, Howard mouthed the words to Boy II Men’s romantic ballad “I’ll Make Love To You.”

In round number two, Howard stepped out wearing a long black wig, mesh shirt, black pants and silver shimmery jacket as he launched into the song “Brick House” by The Commodores. “This is the craziest night of my life,” said Howard after his performance. Henson, on the other hand, dressed up in a big blonde wig and leopard dress to perform Madonna’s “Material Girl.”

In the end the audience decided that Howard was the better faux singer, and he was crowned the winner and given the championship belt. Gossip Cop will update as soon as video is available.
