Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are NOT playing matchmakers for Miranda Lambert, despite an absurd new tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this story. We’re told there’s “no truth” to it.

According to Life and Style, Urban and Kidman are “on a mission” to help Lambert forget about Blake Shelton. The tabloid notes Lambert and Urban have been friends for years and even recorded the 2013 song “We Were Us, and now he’s been eager to get her back in the dating scene. A so-called” insider” tells the tabloid that he and Kidman “knew Miranda and Blake [Shelton] when they were happy together,” before noting they now “want to see Miranda smile once again.”

In an effort to make that happen, alleges the magazine, they’re “hunting” for Mr. Right from among their friends. The tabloid’s supposed “insider” goes on to allege Urban and Kidman got “plenty of yeses” from pals and Lambert’s “dance card is filing up ready.” And when she’s ready to date, adds the questionable “insider,” “she’ll have the pick of the litter.”

While Gossip Cop has no worries about Lambert finding dates, we can bust the claim that Kidman and Urban are her matchmakers. Her rep exclusively confirms to us there’ “no truth” to the Life & Style story.

Of course, Gossip Cop is not surprised the tabloid got this wrong, since we have recently corrected several highly inaccurate story published by the magazine about Lambert. Among the doozies we busted was that Lambert was “at war” with Gwen Stefani over Shelton. Much like that tale, this new one is also false.

Britney Spears Gets Liposuction – Real Or Rumor?

Britney Spears did NOT get liposuction, despite a ridiculous new tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this claim. A source close to Spears said it’s simply “not true.”

According to In Touch, Spears’ tight stomach that she showed off in a December 7 Instagram photo wasn’t entirely due to diet and exercise. An alleged insider tells the tabloid she has “been getting Lipo-dissolve, a procedure that melts fat cells.” The same so-called “source” goes on to claim, “She needed extra help for her trouble zones,” adding that it was well worth it because “when Britney looks good, she feels good, and now she looks skinnier than ever.”

The tabloid’s report, however, is a big fat lie. A source close to Spears exclusively confirms to Gossip Cop that the magazine’s liposuction claim is simply “not true,” and notes how the singer regularly posts photos and videos from her workouts and dance classes.

Of course, In Touch has a well-documented history of inaccurate reports about Spears. Gossip Cop has repeatedly debunked several of the tabloid’s tales about the pop star, including one that she was “livid” Jennifer Lopez signed a Las Vegas residency deal. Gossip Cop also corrected a fictitious claim that her ex-fiance Jason Trawick was trying to win her back. Like those stories, the magazine’s reporting about Spears similarly lipo-sucks.

Tina Fey: I Was A High School Bully

Tina Fey Bully

(The Edit)

Tina Fey’s likable personality today is far from her days as a high school bully. The comedian, who graces the cover of The Edit, admits she was once a “mean girl” as a way of dealing with insecurities.

Fey explains that she was a bully in high school because “when you feel less than (in high school, everyone feels less than everyone else for different reasons), in your mind it’s a way of leveling the playing field. Though, of course, it’s not.” She recalls that her mistreatment of some classmates was “a bad coping mechanism,” noting that it “was a disease that had to be conquered.”

Not only did she move past it, but Fey is also now amazed that she ever behaved that way. Now, says the successful comedic star, “If I meet a girl of 14 or 15 today who is that kind of girl, I am secretly, in my body, afraid, even though I’m 45.”

Fey used her past bullying for the screenplay of her classic teen comedy Mean Girls. She also relied on it for a 2008 episode of “30 Rock,” in which character Liz Lemon discovered during her high school reunion that she was a bully who tormented her classmates.

Tell Gossip Cop what you think about Tina Fey’s days as a bully, and confessing that she herself was once a mean girl.
