Jon Hamm is NOT in negotiations to star in “True Detective” or “Fargo,” despite a new tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this story. We’re told “neither is true.”

According to OK!, Hamm is eager to cash in after winning his first Emmy in September. A so-called source tells the tabloid the actor “wants to strike while the iron is hot,” and has been approached by both FX to star in “Fargo” and HBO to star in “True Detective.” The magazine’s alleged insider is further quoted as saying, “If he says yes to either, the whole series will be based around him.”

The tabloid reports that a jump to either HBO or FX would also guarantee a major pay hike from his old “Mad Men” role. Hamm, says the magazine’s supposed source, “is poised to become TV’s highest paid actor,” noting that “everybody chasing him has deeper pockets than his old bosses at AMC.”

But while Hamm is undoubtedly being pursued for roles, he won’t be appearing on either “Fargo” or “True Detective.” A rep for the actor exclusively tells Gossip Cop that “neither are true.”

Actually, OK! has inaccurately reported on Hamm a few times this past year. Gossip Cop previously busted the tabloid when it wrongly claimed he tried to date Rosamund Pike and that Justin Theroux had concerns over Jennifer Aniston’s “secret crush” on him.

Chris Brown had yet another home intrusion, leading to the arrest of a female fan, Gossip Cop confirms. The unnamed woman was arrested on Tuesday afternoon after entering his property and refusing to leave.

Few details have been released about the woman, but local law enforcement sources confirm that she’s 27 years old, and that she drove up to the front gate of Brown’s property, and waited for someone to leave before using the then-open gate for her to drive onto his compound. The woman was immediately spotted by security and ordered to leave, but she refused. The police were then called to the scene, and the woman was arrested and charged with criminal trespass.

Brown was at home the whole time during the incident, but the singer did not go outside or engage with the woman, who apparently has been spotted by his security staff on previous occasions.

Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time Brown has had security issues at his new Woodland Hills home. As Gossip Cop previously reported, last July his mansion was robbed, and his aunt, who was in the house at the time, was held at gunpoint and locked in a closet. The intruders made off with $50,000 before his aunt had a chance to call police.

And back in May, as Gossip Cop noted, Brown returned home to find a naked woman in his bed who had been living in his old house for several days. Brown posted a photo on Instagram of 21-year-old Amira Ayeb and wrote, “I get home and find this crazy individual in my house. She had broken the hinges off the doors.” He also revealed that she had cooked meals in his kitchen, left plates in the sink, and spray painted “MRS. BROWN” on his Rolls Royce and Range Rover.

Louis Tomlinson crashed a birthday party in Chicago on Saturday, but accidentally left plenty of valuable items behind, including his passport. See photo below!

On Sunday, a Twitter user with the account name @EllenBennettt posted a selfie with Tomlinson’s passport and wrote, “hey @Louis_Tomlinson if ur looking for ur phone, coat or passport my friend Mel has it. U left it at the party LN.” She later wrote that Tomlinson “went to my friends 21st birthday party and left his coat with his passport and dead phone lol!” But after some Directioners became frantic over the news, she quickly tweeted in response, “Update: everything is safely back in his hands. Everyone calm your [expletive].”

It’s unclear whether Tomlinson personally picked up his belongings, or if someone returned them. As Gossip Cop has reported, Tomlinson has been spending time in the Windy City since One Direction began its hiatus earlier this month. In addition to forgetting his passport, the singer’s time in Chicago has also included getting a tattoo on his butt, as Gossip Cop noted on Sunday.
