Celebrities are sharing their Elf on a Shelf displays before Christmas, and Gossip Cop has rounded up the best and most creative ones. See the photos below!

Elf on the Shelf first became a holiday tradition in 2005 when Carol Aebersold released a children’s picture book of the same name. Since then, posting photos of the figurines in different scenarios has continued to grow in popularity. Kourtney Kardashian is among the many stars who annually share Elf on a Shelf pictures. This year, the reality star hid her two elves on a pool table for her kids to find.

But other celebrities, including Mario Lopez, Melissa Joan Hart, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and Busy Philipps, have also truly gotten into the elf spirit, and appear to have spent hours creating elaborate set-ups. Sarah Michelle Gellar posted an Instagram photo of the figures sitting atop of TV memorabilia, including a “Buffy The Vampire Slayer” lunch box.

Perhaps the funniest Elf on the Shelf scene was shared by Snooki. She posted a recreation of the classic Child’s Play horror film series, featuring Chucky and an elf holding a snowman hostage. Check out the celebrity Elf on a Shelf photos below, and tell Gossip Cop which is your favorite.

Tracy Morgan Truck Driver Indicted In Fatal Crash

The truck driver who severely injured Tracy Morgan in a fatal June 2014 car crash was formally indicted Wednesday by a New Jersey grand jury. Kevin Roper now faces numerous charges, including first-degree aggravated manslaughter, third-degree aggravated assault, and second-degree vehicular homicide.

Roper was not in court for Wednesday’s hearing. As Gossip Cop previously reported, his lawyer had been seeking a dismissal of the case on the grounds that the truck driver couldn’t get a fair trial due to the media attention surrounding Morgan’s painstaking recovery. On Tuesday, the request was rejected, and now the indictment means Roper will have to stand trial, though the issue may be reexamined in January.

Roper, a truck driver at the time for Walmart, crashed into Morgan’s limo bus on the New Jersey Turnpike, killing his friend and comedian James McNair, as well as injuring several other passengers. The National Transportation Safety Board conducted an extensive investigation and concluded in August that Roper hadn’t slept in the 28 hours prior to the crash, a claim his legal team disputes. The report, however, also noted that Morgan and several other passengers in the limo were not wearing seat belts, which contributed to their injuries.

Gossip Cop reported in May that a confidential settlement had been reached between Morgan and Walmart. It’s been claimed that he received as much as $90 million for pain and suffering. An arraignment for Roper, who is now facing 18 months to 30 years in prison, will be scheduled at a later date. Check back with Gossip Cop for further updates as this story continues to develop.

Justin Bieber Urges Fans To Buy Choir’s Charity Single Over His Number One Song “Love Yourself”

Justin Bieber is trying to give the gift of a number one single this holiday season. The singer encouraged his British Twitter fans Wednesday to buy a charity single from the Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Choir instead of his own single, “Love Yourself,” so that they could knock him from the top of the charts in the U.K.

Bieber’s “Love Yourself” has already been number one in the U.K. for the past two weeks, and is on track to be the U.K.’s number one song of Christmas 2015. As of Tuesday, Bieber’s single sold 3,000 more copies than the NHS Choir’s single, “A Bridge Over You.” But on Wednesday, Bieber’s manager, Scooter Braun, tweeted at Bieber and Ed Sheeran (who wrote the hit song), “Hmm…time to do the right thing boys. #giveback.”

Bieber immediately took Braun’s advice to heart and tweeted, “I’m hearing this UK Christmas race is close…but the @Choir_NHS single is for charity.” He then urged his fans to buy the NHS Choir’s single by tweeting, “so for 1 week it’s okay not to be #1. Let’s do the right thing and help them out.”

We’ll find out if Bieber’s plea made a difference when this year’s Christmas number one song is announced in the U.K. on Friday. Tell Gossip Cop what you think about Justin Bieber pushing for the charity single, “A Bridge Over You,” to outsell his song “Love Yourself” in the U.K.
