Utah Town Celebrates Early Halloween & Christmas For Dying 4-Year-Old Boy

A small town in Utah is celebrating the holidays early this year in honor of terminally ill four-year-old Ethan Van Leuven, who wants to make the most of his few remaining days.

Van Leuven was diagnosed with lymphoblastic leukemia at the age of two. He has been fighting the disease ever since. Last week, his parents received a devastating update from doctors: Ethan’s disease is no longer treatable.

The boy’s father Merrill reveals, “He’s got two days to a couple of weeks left to live, so that’s when we thought we would make the most of the last days he has remaining with us.” To make that happen, their community of West Jordan, Utah has banded together and helped them celebrate the holidays with Ethan early.

Earlier this week, the town held Halloween a full ten days ahead of schedule, with Ethan going trick-or-treating in a Superman costume. Now the town is getting ready to stage Christmas in October, so the family’s neighbors are decorating their homes. They have also already celebrated Ethan’s fifth birthday a month in advance, holding a big parade in his honor.

His mother Jennifer is touched by the town’s response, saying, “Ethan’s having a blast. It’s so much fun to watch his face light up… This makes it just a little bit easier, just to see how many people love and support him.”

Tori Spelling Sad Message From Hospital: “1 Person Will Never Be There 4 Me” (PIC)

(Instagram)

Tori Spelling has been in the hospital since Saturday, and the “True Tori” star is now saying that the scary experience has made her rethink her life and the people in it.

Spelling was initially admitted to the hospital with flu-like symptoms and even quarantined over the weekend. On Thursday, her husband Dean McDermott confirmed to “ET Canada” that Spelling is suffering from severe bronchitis, sinusitus, and pneumonia, but said that Spelling is getting great care.

The actress then shared a photo of herself in her hospital bed and gown on Instagram (see right and below), captioning the picture with a cryptic and reflective message. In the image, Spelling has her hands on her heart and is seemingly hooked up to an IV. She wrote, “This sick in hospital I finally see how quickly life can take it all away frm you. We all need 2 step up frm inside& go 4 it! W/our friends by our side. Sadly I’ve finally faced truth that 1 person will never be there 4 me #TrueTori.

Although Spelling does not specify the identity of the “1 person,” many have speculated that she is referring to McDermott. “True Tori,” which recently began airing its second season, has depicted Spelling’s marital struggles with McDermott in the aftermath of his affair last year. The couple was in the process of filming the new season when Spelling became sick. McDermott even suggested to “ET Canada” that the strenuous shooting schedule might be behind Spelling’s illnesses.

Spelling has had a number of health scares over the years, including a hospitalization for severe migraines, an ordeal that was documented in the first season of “True Tori.” She also experienced life-threatening complications when giving birth to son Finn in 2012.

Iggy Azalea SLAMS Record Label For Letting Maxim Use Old Cover Photo

(Maxim Australia)

Iggy Azalea has called out her record label for allowing Maxim Australia to use an old image of her for its Hot 100 issue without her knowledge or permission.

The firestorm occurred after Maxim Australia published a picture that had been part of a 2011 photo shoot for Complex, repackaging it to honor Azalea for topping the Hot 100 list.

Azalea took to Twitter on Thursday, slamming the Australian division of her record label for allowing the magazine to use the picture.

She tweeted, “Im going to publicly say something to the australian division of my record label right now because my message seems to be ignored privately,” going on to demand that the label “stop giving permission on my behalf for magazines to purchase images of me that have already been printed in major publications for covers.

Azalea also explained that the label had done this before, noting, “Australian label, i love you guys but you allowed my image to be sold to cosmo Aus when i told you i would prefer for that not to happen. and now this morning i see you’ve allowed maxim australia to buy an image from a 2011 complex mag shoot and put it on the cover.

She continued, “I think its awesome anyone would want me on the cover of a magazine, but theres a right way to make that happen and the australian label clearly aren’t respecting my wishes. a magazine cover deserves an accompanying photoshoot not a reused image.

Azalea added that she would have shot original photos for Maxim Australia had she been asked, remarking, “Maxim Australia, thanks for the love and I’m sorry no one asked me. i would have love to have given an interview & done a shoot with u guys.

Azalea then deleted all of the tweets.
