Gus Kenworthy came out as gay on Thursday morning. The 2014 Olympics silver medal freestyle skier announced on Twitter, “I am gay.” Before coming out, he tweeted two hours earlier, “Today is the first day of the rest of my life.”

Kenworthy, who competed in the winter Olympics in Sochi, is the first openly gay action sports athlete. He began privately coming out to his friends and family more than two years ago, but was hesitant to make his sexuality public, especially before competing in Russia, which has anti-gay laws. After winning the silver medal, the athlete promised himself, according to his interview with ESPN magazine, that once he became the best skier in the world he would be open about his sexuality.

Now, just a few months after his historic win at the February X-Games, during which he performed four different double corks, he’s making good on that promise. And Kenworthy’s decision to come out has been met with an outpouring of love on social media from fellow athletes, celebrities, and the U.S. freeskiing team. Chloe Grace Moretz tweeted, “So proud and amazing to see you so strong !!!! @guskenworthy couldn’t be happier for you,” while the official U.S. Olympic Team Twitter account declared they are “PROUD” to say Kenworthy is apart of the team.

Kanye West had guests at Kim Kardashian’s birthday party wear fake baby bump to look like the evening’s honoree on Wednesday. West, who dubbed the party “Kim’s Pregnant Birthday,” asked guests to dress in their favorite pregnant Kim look, complete with fake baby bumps. See photo below.

Kourtney Kardashian showed off her fake baby bump in an Instagram photo, alongside Kris Jenner, sister Kylie, and makeup artist Joyce Bonelli. While Kourtney, Kris and Joyce placed their faux baby bumps in the belly areas of their very Kim style outfits, Kylie used her prosthetic to emulate another famous bump of Kim’s, her butt.

On Thursday, Kim thanked West on Instagram, and shared details from the hilariously themed event. She wrote, “My husband never ceases the amaze me! He rented out the entire movie theater to screen the new Steve Jobs (It’s sooooo good BTW).” As Gossip Cop reported, family members and other close ones, including Tyga and Corey Gamble, assembled at the Westlake Cinepolis, which was decorated with K-shaped balloons and loads of flowers.

The reality star, who has been vocal about how uncomfortable pregnancy can be, also noted on Instagram how she loved the party’s pregnancy theme. She said, “Had all of my family & close friends come dressed up as their best pregnant Kim look (fake baby bumps provided on arrival!) Not sure if that was to make me feel less huge or just a fun cool theme but I loved it & had the best time ever, feeling so very comfortable eating churros with a bunch of pregnant women!”

Check out the photos below from Kim’s birthday with everyone wearing baby bumps, and tell Gossip Cop what you think.

I wasn’t expecting to look this way again quite yet, but Happy Pregnant Birthday @kimkardashian !!
