The Golden Globes are on Sunday, but the partying already began in Hollywood. Celebrities ranging from Reese Witherspoon to Chris Evans flocked to the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles on Thursday night for W magazine’s pre-Golden Globes bash. See the photos below!

Amy Adams, Diane Kruger, Joshua Jackson, Eddie Redmayne, Miles Teller, Minnie Driver, Sarah Hyland, Paris Hilton, Tracee Ellis Ross, Paula Patton, Rosamund Pike, Dita Von Teese, Rose McGowan and Cheryl Burke were among those who struck poses at the stylish party honoring the year’s best performances.

W magazine’s annual party celebrates the Golden Globes in conjunction with its February issue, which features many of the award show’s nominees. Witherspoon, of course, is nominated for Best Actress In A Motion Picture (Drama); Adams is up for Best Actress In A Motion Picture (Comedy); and Redmayne is vying for a Golden Globe in the Best Actor In A Motion Picture (Drama) category.

It all leads up to the big show, which will be held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on January 11. Amy Poehler and Tina Fey will be returning as hosts at the 72nd annual Golden Globe Awards for the third year in a row. Check out the photos below from W’s party, and tell us what you think!

Lena Dunham destroyed Jimmy Fallon and J.K. Simmons during an intense game of Pictionary on Thursday’s “Tonight Show.” The late night host and Simmons were no match for Dunham and her partner Steve Higgins, who were perfectly in sync from the the start of the game (video below).

Dunham was up first. Within seconds of her starting to draw, Higgins correctly guessed the answer was the tooth fairy, leaving their opponents stunned. Fallon, who was next up, noted, “This is not going to go well. This is not going to go well at all.”

Fallon then announced he would be drawing an object, but that it would be a “tricky one.” And it was. Fallon had to sketch a “Footlong Hotdog.” His partner Simmons had no clue what he was trying to draw. “Something phallic!” Simmons guessed, before adding, “A vagina.” Higgins exclaimed, “That is filthy. This is a kids show. Children are watching!” Simmons defended his words by noting, “It’s a medical term.” Fallon’s drawing didn’t get any better. In fact, it may have gotten worse, and he and Simmons soon ran out of time. “I am sorry,” he told his teammate. “I am embarrassed.” Dunham added, “Jimmy, I’m saying this with complete love. You could not have failed harder.”

During the second round, Dunham quickly figured out that Higgins was drawing a “Pickle Jar” for their second win. Simmons was the last to go, and Dunham told the star, “J.K., don’t stress! You are a really good actor!” Simmons sketched an arrow pointing up and a chair, which allowed Fallon to correctly guess “High Chair” for their first win. For the final showdown, Dunham and Fallon both had to draw a “Wingman” for their partners to guess. “No matter what happens. We stay friends,” Dunham told the talk show host. “Dance Moms” star Maddie Ziegler, who stars opposite Shia LaBeouf in Sia’s “Elastic Heart” music video, says the actor warned her not to make the same mistakes that he had. “He actually told me, he was like, ‘Don’t ever drink. Don’t ever do this. Don’t ever do what I did,’” she tells Elle. “And I was like, ‘Aw. I feel so bad!’ I was just learning from him.”

The 12-year-old notes, “He really gets into character. He warms up and does all this crazy stuff before he starts. He was, like, running around the cage, just punching it. He was screaming. He was doing all these push-ups. Oh my god. I was just standing there, like, ‘Oh, hey!’ Just trying to start a conversation. And he kept screaming. I was like, ‘How could someone run like that?’ I’d be so out of breath.”

In the video, Ziegler and LaBeouf engage in an interpretive dance, inspired by two animals fighting. Ziegler says she was acting like a “hissing” wolf. The pre-teen explains, “I’m trying to hurt him. I’m, like, the mean one, the bad one; I’m the one who’s strong.” Ziegler says the worst part of filming was having to slap, bite and punch LaBeouf. “I was like, ‘I can’t do this!’” she recalls. “And he was like, ‘Punch me. Go ahead. Go ahead.’ I was doing it really soft and he was like, ‘No. You have to punch me hard.’ He wouldn’t move on until I really punched him hard. I was so scared, but I went ahead and punched him really hard.”

When the controversial “Elastic Heart” video debuted on Wednesday, critics called the footage, featuring a grown LaBeouf in nude boxers and the much younger Ziegler in a similarly colored bodysuit, pedophilia. The young girl says Sia originally wanted to cast someone who was younger than LaBeouf. “She was like, ‘With this video, I wanna have a guy, I wanna have a boy.’ And, at first, she was like, ‘Maybe we could find a little boy — like, your size,’” relates Ziegler, who also appeared in Sia’s “Chandelier” video. “But then my mom got a call and was like, ‘Oh, Maddie, you’re going to be doing the video with Shia LaBeouf.’ And I was like, ‘Does he dance?’ Actually my first reaction, to be honest, was, ‘Wait, who is he again?’” What do you think of Ziegler’s comments about the video shoot and LaBeouf?
