Nicole Richie and Joel Madden “Divorce” Report Is Wrong (EXCLUSIVE)

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are NOT on the verge of divorce, despite a RadarOnline report that repeats the endless (and consistently wrong) tabloid rumors about the couple. Gossip Cop can bust the latest version, too.

According to the webloid’s source, Richie and Madden are “closer than ever” to divorcing. “Nicole and Joel are going through a very tough time right now and their friends do not think that their marriage is going to survive,” claims the RadarOnline insider, adding, “Joel is saying that he cannot take it anymore and that neither of them are happy when they are together.”

The outlet says the couple is “at odds” over their family’s future and what will happen with children Harlow and Sparrow. “Everyone is mainly concerned with their children and Joel has not been actively participating in their lives,” the source tells RadarOnline, before going on to criticize Richie for being too thin and not smiling enough.

Last week, when In Touch became the 7,000th outlet to claim Richie and Madden are having problems and will get divorced, Gossip Cop exclusively debunked it. RadarOnline is no closer to the truth. A source exclusively close to the situation tells Gossip Cop there’s “no truth at all” to the report.

Bobbi Kristina Brown Still “Unresponsive” and Unchanged, Despite Speculation

Bobbi Kristina Brown Life Support

(Instagram)

Bobbi Kristina Brown’s medical status is still the subject of conflicting reports, as various family members leak slightly different versions to the media. But as Gossip Cop has been reporting, it appears like there has been no significant change or improvement in the 22-year-old’s prognosis, despite a new round of speculation after Bobby Brown declared that his daughter is “awake.”

The latest development is a TMZ report claiming the Houston family is “changing their tune” and agreeing with the Browns about Bobbi Kristina being “off life support.” The crux of the story seems to be that Bobbi Kristina is not using a ventilator and is breathing on her own. Except, as Gossip Cop has reported, that’s been true for some time.

Her family says in a statement that Bobbi Kristina still has “global and irreversible brain damage and remains unresponsive.” That, unfortunately, is the more critical description of her condition than whether she’s breathing. It remains to be seen how Bobbi Kristina’s family decides to approach her long-term care, but there has not been a significant change in her prospects for a return to health, despite the last few days’ worth of renewed media speculation.

Furious 7 Wins Box Office Race Again In Third Lap, Beats Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2

Furious 7 Opening Weekend

(Universal)

Furious 7 is still blazing across the top of the box office, three weeks into the release of the latest sequel in the star-studded franchise about fast cars doing dangerous things. Early estimates have the movie earning $27 million to hold onto the #1 spot, beating the new Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2, which is expected to open to about $22 million.

The horror movie Unfriended should take in approximately $16 million for third place. Home, featuring the voices of Rihanna and Jim Parsons, is on pace for $9 million and the #4 spot. The Longest Ride is eyeing $7 million for a fifth place finish.

It might be a very tightly packed bottom half of the Top 10. The new nature movie Monkey Kingdom is looking to debut in sixth place with $4.5 million, but a crowd of holdover films are all bunched around $4 million. The Will Ferrell-Kevin Hart comedy Get Hard, the drama Woman in Gold, the dystopian action-adventure Insurgent, and the fairy tale Cinderella are currently neck and neck. Each movie is on pace for between $3.8 million and $4.3 million.

All current figures are estimates. Gossip Cop will have updates. What are you seeing this weekend?
