Once Upon A Time, Kristen Bell And Dax Shepard Almost Broke Up On A Motorcycle

Everyone is aware that Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard seem like a wonderfully grounded couple.
They’re adorable, open about their relationship, debunk the idea of a perfect celebrity couple, and are very skilled dancers.
But everyone might not be aware that, early on in their relationship, they almost broke up while riding a motorcycle together. Bell shared the story on Jimmy Kimmel Live and it’s absolutely delightful.

The couple and their two daughters love to go on road trips together, a tradition Bell and Shepard started early on in their relationship. Right after they finished working on the classic 2010 movie When in Rome, the new couple rode a motorcycle from New York to Detroit to visit their families.

Shepard chose the music for the first two states, so when he stopped to get gas, Bell switched the iPod out and put on some — you guessed it — showtunes.

Which didn’t go over well. And things just snowballed from there.

Next, they fought about state helmet laws.

Then it started raining, and the fighting got so heated that they both lost their voices from screaming so much, and Bell refused to hold onto him for support. They were “on the verge of a breakup.”
