Complete with that blazer and hairdo.

Who plays a better Duckie: Jon Cryer or James Corden?

Fresh off wrapping Two and a Half Men and now promoting his book, the actor — properly equipped with that blazer and hairdo — recreated his iconic Pretty in Pink record store dance sequence alongside the Late Late Show host on Tuesday night.

Set to Otis Redding’s “Try a Little Tenderness,” their reprise hit every every fist-pounding, wall-dancing, pelvic-thrusting memorable move of the legendary lip-synch.

Howard Deutch’s 1986 film, about cliques clashing in the lead up to prom, also starred Molly Ringwald, James Spader and Andrew McCarthy.

John Oliver Defends IRS With One Direction Jokes, Michael Bolton Performance (Video)

John Oliver Defends IRS With One Direction Jokes, Michael Bolton Performance (Video) – The Hollywood Reporter

"Think of our government as a body. The IRS is the anus — it's nobody's favorite part but you need that thing working properly, or else everything goes to shit." HBO/Screenshot

“Think of our government as a body. The IRS is the anus — it’s nobody’s favorite part but you need that thing working properly, or else everything goes to shit.”

John Oliver is hoping to help America sympathize with the IRS.

The Last Week Tonight host tackled the topic of the underappreciated department on Sunday, showing viewers a different side — particularly, one that’s covered in brown sugar, dust and mustard and compared to the Gestapo by Maine governor Paul LePage.

“Those people are the physical equivalents of Ambien!” said Oliver, highlighting clips from the IRS’ YouTube page in which they discuss their positions. “There is a weird kind of heroism to doing jobs that are that boring, because not only could I not only do that job, I can barely listen to them talking about it.”

Oliver noted that everyone’s hatred for the IRS is misdirected: “Blaming the IRS because you hate paying your taxes is a bit like slapping your checkout clerk because the price of eggs has gone up — it’s not her fault, she’s just trying to help you get out of the star. That scenario, incidentally, is my pitch for The Slap, season 2.”

Mostly, it doesn’t function properly because of a slashed budget, a misguided punishment for overspending (on things like a Star Trek-themed training video) and a Tea Party-targeting scandal. Yet still, “you can’t lose nearly 20 percent of what you are and be as effective. It’s like pretending Zayn [Malik] leaving One Direction doesn’t tear the heart out of that band!” he shouted — especially when its work force and technology is rapidly aging.

Altogether though, it’s an investment worth making. “I’m not saying the IRS is a likeable organization, but not everything that’s important is likeable. Think of our government as a body. The IRS is the anus — it’s nobody’s favorite part but you need that thing working properly, or else everything goes to shit.”

And who better sing about all of it than Michael Bolton

‘Empire’: Taraji P. Henson Reveals Cookie’s Amazing Improvised Naomi Campbell Insult That Was Cut (Video) – The Hollywood Reporter

Also improvised by Henson: “‘Boo boo kitty’ is the new ‘Bye, Felicia!'”

Ahead of her Saturday Night Live hosting debut, Empire star Taraji P. Henson stopped by Late Night With Seth Meyers to reveal a few secrets about her beloved badass character, Cookie Lyon.

For example, her memorable lines “Shut up, Dora” and “Boo boo kitty” were completely improvised, she told host Seth Meyers. “”Boo boo kitty’ is the new ‘Bye, Felicia!'”

But one Cookie insult directed at Naomi Campbell didn’t make the cut. “She tried to side-swipe me by adding a line — Cookie was ready,” said Henson. “So I said to her, I said, ‘I want me some grandbabies, but you got them dried up Benjamin Button eggs.'”

Henson didn’t think it’d be a problem, since she played Queenie in the 2008 film with Brad Pitt. “How can they not let Queenie, the mother of Benjamin Button — why wouldn’t they clear that for me? I’m Benjamin Button’s mom!”

Meyers rallied, “Also, what are the Benjamin Button people gonna do? Show up on the set of Empire?”

Echoed Henson, “And do what? Get a smackdown from Cookie!”

“I hate that bitch,” the actress did admit of her Empire character though. “She’s stolen my identity — nobody calls me by my name anymore.” However, does her onscreen intimidation help her get into restaurants without a reservation? “Absolutely,” she said with a smile.

And when the host noted his shock that she doesn’t actually swear on the network show, though it feels like she does, Henson agreed and said, “I swear with my eyes! I learned that from Bette Davis!”
