Angelina Jolie is NOT chain-smoking cigarettes amid the drama involving her divorce from Brad Pitt, despite a bogus webloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust this claim. We’re told it’s not true.

“Angelina Jolie Smoking Herself To Death” blares a bogus new RadarOnline headline. The repeatedly discredited website then quotes a so-called “source” as saying the actress is so “stressed out” by her custody battle with that she’s “smoking like a chimney.” The outlet’s dubious insider adds, “Angie doesn’t eat, she chain-smokes. She easily goes through two packs a day.”

But Gossip Cop looked into the claim, and we’re told there’s no truth to it. A reliable source close to Jolie assures us, “All of the times I’ve spent with her at her home, I’ve never smelled or seen cigarettes!” Of course, RadarOnline has a long history of making up stories about the actress, so this latest fabrication comes as no surprise.

Gossip Cop recently busted the site’s similarly false claim that Jolie was using drugs in the wake of her divorce. In addition to that bogus report, we called out the webloid for wrongly alleging that Jolie was making “secret calls” to a “lesbian lover” following her split. This latest story about Jolie’s supposed chain-smoking is equally untrue.

Dev Patel Mistaken For Kal Penn In Wall Street Journal ‘Lion’ Movie Review

Dev Patel and Kal Penn, both of whom are of Indian descent, were mixed up in the Wall Street Journal’s review of the new film Lion, in which the former actor stars. The mistake was quickly pointed out on social media, and even acknowledged by Penn himself.

In his review of Lion, film critic Joe Morgenstern says Patel “gives his richest performance since The Namesake.” Despite the supposed compliment, it was Penn who starred in that 2006 film. Instead, the British-born Patel is perhaps best known for his role in Slumdog Millionaire, and has also appeared in The Last Airbender, Chappie and on HBO’s “The Newsroom.” Meanwhile, New Jersey native Penn rose to fame playing a stoner in the Harold and Kumar movies, and also appeared in Superman Returns, and had recurring roles on the TV shows “House” and “How I Met Your Mother.”

Shortly after the review emerged online, a Twitter user wrote to Morgenstern, “Dev Patel wasn’t in the Namesake. Did you mean the other brown actor (@kalpenn) or other brown film?” Penn later retweeted the message. Meanwhile, another person added, “You do realize that Dev Patel is not Kal Penn, right?” to which the critic responded, “I do. What a dumb error.” The print edition of the Wall Street Journal, which hit newsstands on Friday, still includes the blunder, but the review of Lion on the publication’s website has since been corrected.

Kanye West NOT Designing Melania Trump’s Inauguration Dress, Despite Report

Kanye West was NOT designing a dress for Melania Trump to wear to Donald Trump’s inauguration prior to his hospitalization, despite a made-up webloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively debunk this claim. We’re told there’s “no truth” to it.

As Gossip Cop reported, West was admitted to a Los Angeles hospital for a psychiatric evaluation earlier this week, just hours after announcing the cancellation of his Saint Pablo Tour. HollywoodLife is now making the bogus claim that the rapper was secretly working on potential outfits for the future first lady to wear to her husband’s inauguration before the incident. A so-called “source” tells the site, “He was behind the scenes working on sketches and pulling fabrics to design a few dresses and skirts for Melania. He desperately wanted her in his clothes.”

The webloid’s dubious insider further purports that West believed “his line would be an overnight success” if he could convince Melania to wear one of his outfits on Inauguration Day. But Gossip Cop looked into the report, and we’re exclusively assured by a source close to the situation there’s simply “no truth” to it. Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time we’ve had to call out HollywoodLife for concocting a tall tale involving West’s recent medical issue.

Gossip Cop just busted the site for falsely claiming Taylor Swift had shared her reaction to West’s hospitalization, but she hasn’t weighed in on the subject. This latest story is another lie from the frequently unreliable webloid.
