Now that Donna's relationship with Stephen Huntley (Max Beesley) has come to a screeching halt on Suits, has Harvey's (Gabriel Macht) loyal No. 2 learned her lesson?
Actress Sarah Rafferty pointed to a key heart to heart with Harvey in the flashback episode, wherein the two colleagues set their issues aside. In that moment, Harvey finally admits Donna and Stephen's romance makes his uncomfortable, prompting him to ask her why she abandoned her rule of not engaging with co-workers in a non-professional level.

"I think Donna was surprised by her own reaction to that, that she just has to live her life and she's not going to apologize for who she is. But she got pretty emotional about that," Rafferty says on a recent visit to The Hollywood Reporter offices. "It brought up a lot for about her life's choices and maybe having moments of questioning them."
With Scottie (Abigail Spencer) now back in the picture, Rafferty reassures that Donna is all for a rekindled Scottie and Harvey relationship.
"Donna's actually rooting for Scottie," she says. "Donna's cheerleading Harvey in that relationship and hoping the best for him and that he can be happy in a relationship."

As for what the summer finale entails, expect curveballs.
"There's definitely some unexpected, warm, fuzzy moments [in the finale]. Just when you're really settled into those moments, you get slammed with a revelation," she says, "so there is a bit of a cliffhanger going into the winter premiere."
One of those heated moments is a tense encounter between Donna and Stephen, jailed after it's revealed he ordered the murders that brought powerful businesswoman Ava Hessington (Michelle Fairley) to trial.
"It's interesting to see them come together under these circumstances and see if they're going to get a little bit more closure," she says. "What was really dynamic about that scene was what motivated her to confront Stephen."
Suits wraps up its summer run Tuesday at 10 p.m. on USA.
