Elton John isn’t done expressing his concern for the new generation of pop stars.

The music legend, who recently said he feels “sorry” for Lindsay Lohan and Justin Bieber, and has even written a song, “The Diving Board,” about them getting “swallowed up” in fame, also has some serious fears for Miley Cyrus and Lady Gaga.

“I look at Miley Cyrus and I see a meltdown waiting to happen,” John reportedly told The Australian.

He’s further quoted as saying, “And she’s so young! But she’s got two records in the top 20, so who is going to stop her?”

The always-candid John seems to think Gaga is facing a similar predicament: having so much success that no one will suggest doing things differently.

“With Gaga -– who I love, she’s the godmother to our children –- I’d like to be able to talk to her right now, but I can’t get through to her,” the singing icon said.

He reportedly added, “And there are times when you have to listen. When your persona begins to take over your music and becomes more important, you enter a dangerous place. Once you have people around you who don’t question you, you’re in a dangerous place.”

What do you think of John’s comments?
