DC’s big Villain Month event starts tomorrow, with each title in the DC line-up being taken over by an iconic villain, complete with lenticular 3D motion covers on each book. Here are four of the impressive new motion covers in action.
The Ventriloquist takes over Batman: The Dark Knight:
The new Ventriloquist holds her accomplice Ferdie up in the foreground, and he really pops off the page. The hanging doll figures in the background are pretty eerie too as the swing back and forth when you shift the cover.

Bizarro takes over Superman:
Bizarro's hand seems like it's coming right off the page, and the swirling ice vapor coming from his eyes makes for a pretty impressive effect.

Desaad takes over Earth 2:
Desaad's robes flow into the foreground on the cover of Desaad #1, and the swirling clouds of fire in the background are appropriately dizzying.

Cyborg Superman takes over Superman:
Cyborg Superman is back with a new look and new origin story. On the cover of Cyborg Superman #1, the Cyborg is reaching right off the page as Superman struggles behind him.
