TV Ratings: Post-Blackout ‘Under the Dome’ Rises, NBC’s ‘Ninja Warrior’ Hits High

With its primetime lineup finally back in the hands of Time Warner Cable customers in New York, Los Angeles and Dallas, CBS won its first night back from the month-long blackout with a small boost for Under the Dome. Though the carriage dispute never had a noticeable impact on the network's ratings, Under the Dome was nonetheless up on Labor Day, posting a 2.6 rating among adults 18-49 according to Fast National returns -- an improvement of one-tenth of a point from last week.

Coupled with a block of comedy encores, the network averaged a dominant 1.6 rating with adults 18-49 and 6.8 million viewers.

The night's other original offerings also saw growth. A two-hour American Ninja Warrior (1.8 adults) hit a season high on NBC, improving by one-tenth of a point from last week's one-hour offering. Siberia (0.7 adults) was also up by a tenth. NBC averaged a 1.4 rating with adults 18-49 and 4.3 million viewers.

Mistresses (1.3 adults) aired a special outing at 9 p.m., improving three-tenths of a point in the process. ABC averaged a 1.1 rating with adults 18-49 and 4.2 million viewers for the night.

Fox aired comedy encores to the tune of a 0.7 rating with adults 18-49 and 1.8 million viewers.

On the CW, a new episode of Breaking Pointe (0.2 adults) was even with last week's, giving the network an average 0.2 adults rating and 556,000 viewers for the night.
