Lady Gaga kicked off the 30-day iTunes Festival in London on Sunday, debuting new music — and showcasing her real hair.

The pop star, who is rarely seen without some kind of wig, showed off her natural look mid-performance, explaining to the audience that she wanted to stop hiding behind “characters.”
“Here I am the human underneath the wigs. This is my real hair,” she told the crowd.
Of course, Gaga “wigged-out” throughout the concert, anyway.
She also brandished a knife on stage at one point, with “Hollywood” scrawled on it.
