‘Breaking Bad’ Fans Name ‘I Am the One Who Knocks’ Show’s Best Line

Breaking Bad fans have spoken, and "I am the one who knocks" has been crowned the best quote of the AMC series (so far).

The classic Walt (Bryan Cranston) line easily defeated the competition in a poll conducted by The Hollywood Reporter over the weekend, receiving 32 percent of the nearly 1,500 votes cast.

Newcomer "tread lightly," from this month's midseason premiere, came in at a distant second, with 15 percent of the votes, and last year's "say my name" came in third with 13 percent.

The drop-off is steep after that, with No. 4 going to Mike's (Jonathan Banks) quip to Walt "Just because you shot Jesse James, don't make you Jesse James," getting 5 percent of votes. Another Walt quote rounded out the top five, with "I'm in the empire business" getting 3 percent.

Several astute commenters pointed out some lines we neglected to include on the list.

"How is 'Yeah bitch ... MAGNETS!' not on this list?" asked fejimanz, while BerniFromYVR, proposed that this other Jesse (Aaron Paul) gem should have made it: "This is my own private domicile and I will not be intimidated, b*tch!"
