*NSYNC joined Twitter on Saturday, one day before their rumored reunion at the MTV Video Music Awards.
“Mic check, mic check one.. two… is this thing on?!” read the first tweet from the boy band.
The @NSYNC account was verified shortly before 6 p.m.
It’s been widely reported that confirmed performer (and Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award recipient) Justin Timberlake will be joined at Sunday’s event by his old pals JC Chasez, Joey Fatone, Lance Bass, and Chris Kirkpatrick.
*NSYNC disbanded a decade ago, and last performed together on TV in 2003.
