TV Ratings: ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ Slips, NBC Wins Tuesday With ‘Talent’

NBC took home the victory on Tuesday night, thanks to America's Got Talent and newly-renewed Hollywood Game Night.

Averaging a 1.8 rating in the advertiser-coveted adults 18-49 demographic, NBC easily topped the competition, with Fox second (1.2), followed by ABC (1.0), CBS (0.8) and The CW (0.6), according to fast nationals. NBC also averaged the most viewers in primetime with 6.7 million. Here's how the evening broke down on the broadcast networks.

America's Got Talent (8.2 million total viewers, 2.2 rating) was the night's top-rated telecast on the Big 4, though it was down from last Tuesday's comparable broadcast. An encore of Hollywood Game Night (3.5 million, 1.0) led into the night.

Fox's So You Think You Can Dance (3.8 million, 1.2) slipped in the ratings as well, dropping 8 percent in the key demo with viewership on par with last week.

ABC's Extreme Weight Loss (3.7 million, 1.3) rose 18 percent from its last original, with a steady repeat of Body of Proof (2.9 million, 0.6) following.

The CW's Whose Line Is It Anyway? remained steady with its hour of back-to-back episodes, averaging 2.3 million viewers at 8 p.m. and a 0.8 rating, while lead-out Capture (1 million, 0.4) slipped a tenth.

CBS aired a night of repeats: NCIS (7.7 million, 0.9), NCIS: Los Angeles (7.8 million, 2.0) and Person of Interest (5.2 million, 0.8).
