Simon Cowell is demanding that baby mama Lauren Silverman take a paternity test, reports Star, which claims the “X Factor” creator is “not to keen on giving up his money” for the newly-divorced socialite.
The magazine alleges that Cowell “recently told Lauren that he’s not even thinking about child support” until she “submits to a DNA test!”
According to a so-called “source” for the tab, “Simon is no fool, and he’s not going to pay a cent for this child until he’s 100 percent sure he’s the father.”
“He needs scientific proof,” says the purported “insider.”
The mag’s supposed “source” goes on to note, “Simon was with Lauren a lot of the time but not all of the time” during their affair, adding that the baby “could be” her ex-husband Andrew Silverman’s.
That’s odd, considering the fact that on Tuesday, Cowell confirmed he’s having a baby with Lauren and excitedly told reporters, “I’m proud to be a dad.”
